    Aloha!

    My name is Barton. I wasn't raised in a Christian home and I think I first came to fully understand the Gospel when I was 34 years old.

    Our church is held in different places each Sunday since we don't have our own building. We are a small but growing group. I'm hoping to start a family and just need to spend a few more months studying and praying with Pastor Ed and the Elders. (God has not yet revealed if I am to wed Sarah or Judith. I think it will be Sarah as she is younger and has more child-bearing years ahead of her)

    Anyway, my favorite Bible verse is probably "This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."Psalms 118:24 I like it because it reminds me that each day is new and I don't have to dwell on all the things I did or participated in before I became a Christian. I have repaid my wordly debts as far as I am able and God has forgiven me what man cannot.

    Praise Jesus and welcome aboard. What kind of a tithing system does this church of yours have?

    God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

          Aloha Brother Temperance! We each tithe one tenth from our bounty. We also give more whenever asked. The work of the ministry requires many resources and we feel blessed to be allowed to contribute! "let not the rich man glory in his riches"

          Thank you Cranky Old Man. Sarah has seen 16 years and has really grown into a strong woman in the Lord. Judith is a wonderful woman too. She is 23 years old, though.

          Greetings James Hutchins! I have a number of children, 3 sons and 2 daughters that I know of. However, they all were born before I became a Christian and, due to certain legal issues, I am not allowed to contact them or their mothers. In fact, I do not know where they live or what their names are now. I do maintenance work for several companies (as an independent contractor). The best thing about having Jesus by my side? I have to say it's probably the knowledge that I am on the winning side now! I don't have to worry about understanding the twisted concepts or convoluted arguments of the wicked. It's enough for me to just know my beliefs are right. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding" (proverbs 3)

            Welcome to our forums! Why don't you tell us your testimony of how you came to find Christ? You obviously were lost, fornicating with women and knocking them up. What made you change? When did you finally realize you were unsaved, worthless scum?

                Welcome! I admire your reasoning in bride selection. I don't know how old you are, except you are at least 34. I guess you could be 60.

                There are unsaved heathens who would say that someone your age with a 16 year old girl is creepy to the point of making you a pedophile. But as we say out west, "Old enough to bleed, old enough to butcher." May the Lord bless you with many more Christian soldiers, especially now that you have practiced on some throwaways and are ready to raise the new crop properly. You also have the advantage of training your young bride right. You know how women are, the older they get without proper discipline, the more mouthy and headstrong they are. It can really give your spanking arm a workout!

                    I'm 43 now. 7 years ago, I woke up in the gutter (figuratively). Actually, I was in a fairly nice bed at the Maui Prince Hotel... it was a SPIRITUAL gutter, more exactly. I was not alone physically but I felt alone, if you know what I mean.

                    At that moment, I woke up again. As if my entire life before that had been in a fog or a bad dream. I knew it was not a dream, of course. The evidence of that was all around me in the form of empty bottles, discarded clothing and so on. The fog was lifted from my eyes, IOW. I was not saved at this point but I was made ready to receive Him.

                    I was compelled to leave that den of iniquity and I stumbled out of the room, half-wearing just a bathrobe. I made it down to the lobby area where I almost walked into Mr. Crenshaw, an Elder at the Church I now attend. He initially recoiled from me, thinking me a crazed lunatic (which I had been, up to just a few minutes prior). I don't remember everything I said but he ended up inviting me to break bread with him at the breakfast buffet there. He told me later that God moved him to take compassion on me. He would not otherwise had given me time of day.

                    Anyway, I did what I could to be more presentable and went to breakfast! At the table were a number of other people. I hadn't expected this but my normal flight/fight instinct around Godly people didn't kick in. I was shown a number of Bible verses. I distinctly remember hearing "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" for the first time right there.

                    I don't think I was actually saved until a week later, though. I had learned more of the Gospel. I was sitting with Pastor Ed. My resistance to God was crumbling quickly. It was more than simple dissatisfaction with my former life. I finally understood my total depravity.

                    My spirit was finally moved and I was able to accept His gift.

                    Where I live is not a large place. I run into people from my former life all the time. It's strange that so many of the women that I used to know look so disgusting to me now. Half-naked painted Jezebels. Harlots, all of them.

                      Pedophilia is the love of children but anyone capable of birthing a child cannot themselves be a child. It probably depends on genetics but I should think there are some 12 and 13 year-olds out there that qualify as women.

                      I'm 43 now. I figure I'm about the right age for Sarah. My wild oats have already been sown. I am stable and can offer her both firm guidance and loving support. She is also young and healthy enough to be able to care for me well once I'm in my elderly years.

                        How many bastard "Wild Oats" children will her offspring have to share their inheritance with?

                            My desire is that they receive a proper upbringing amongst people of their own kind in all righteousness and ultimately are able to inherit the Kingdom of God. My house will not be an object lesson for the following scripture:
