Hello,

My name is Drew, and I am interested in the discussions going on in the threads here. Although I am everything that most of you will despise, I still have good morals. I always enjoy a good discussion, especially religion. I have studied most major religions, but I am only really familiar with one through being raised there. It is always good to be open minded and willing to accept others thoughts.

About myself, like I said before, I am everything that most people in these religions despise. I was raised in Utah, as a Mormon. I am currently 'inactive', as I have disagreed with some of the teachings of the leaders, and I have also turned my life into something the LDS church is disgusted with. Growing up Mormon though has given me plenty of experience on scripture. I attended seminary classes through high school, enjoying the stories told through scripture, particularly the Old Testament.

Reading through this site, I have noticed that there are many things that are frowned upon by the Landover Baptists, but that I have regularly in my life. I have many multi-racial friends; I listen to plenty of metal and rock music; I am a regular patron at many bars and clubs in the area; I drink alcohol socially, and have even experimented with some recreational drugs. And the biggest thing that I think will be hardest for most people on this site, I am a homosexual. It is who I am, and no one can ever change that.

I am here for discussion of religion, not to be saved or converted. I know my scriptures, I know how to think for myself. Thank you for letting me participate.

Even the Mormons (who are not christian BTW) have the sense to tell you you're going to hell, why do you expect us to be different?

Last I checked Mormons still used the KJV Bible, even if it is just for something to put their BoM up against.

Perhaps you have not read these forums very closely, we are not here for "discussion", we are here because we have the common goal of finding Jesus, and helping others who want to find Jesus.

Mormons aren't Christians, so it's great that you've escaped that satanic cult. Please tell us about yourself in detail. How old are you? What sorts of sin and degeneracy have you wallowed in? Would you like to hear the Good News about Jesus Christ?

Did you mean to say you still have "good molars", son?

You hate God, you have made the homosexual deathstyle choice, you cavort in perversion, depravity, and intoxication. You then declare that you have no desire to serve God.

Since all morals come from God, and what God wants is by definition right, you are, by acting against His Word, wrong. That means you are, by definition, immoral and Hellbound.

By the way, it's only "difficult" for us that you choose homosexuality because we know you have sentenced yourself to Hell, and we don't want that for you.

So, why are you really here? To try to convince us to join you in Hell?

Please tell me, do you like fast cars? Or, knowing your kind, a cute purse? If you do does that give you the right to go against God's law and steal the objects you desire? Of course not. You are not allowed to commit a crime just to acquire what you desire. No judge on earth or in Heaven will accept the defense that liking those objects forces you to steal them. The same is true for your devil-inspired cravings, just because you think you have unnatural urges does not mean it is allowed to act upon them. You should acknowledge that your yearnings are evil and can only be caused by Satan. Once you give your life to Jesus they will disappear. Do not make His sacrifice for naught.
