    Welcome friend,

Do share more with us. Are you a Christian? What is your favorite Bible verse?

And Pastery, it would appear. Care to tell us a little about yourself? What's your favourite Bible Verse? Which Republican are you rooting for in '08? What are your bank details?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

I was never raised a Christian, but do find the ideology quite fascinating. I read the Bible once and found this verse rather poetic:
"To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under Heaven." Unfortunatly I do not remember the correct book, chapter or verse.

Ecclesiastes is a very good book. I particularly like the conclusion:
Ecclesiastes 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

I'll never know why people keep on insisting on writing new books when the Bible already says everything you need to know.

There are some exceptional books in the world. I like mystery novels, even though they, with my deductive powers, are very predictable. Mostly I like to play chess. I have only been beaten once....if I may say so myself.
By the way, Pastery should be along any minute if you would like to talk to her... You'll know who is L and who is Pastery, trust me.

Friend, I hope that you are not suggesting that you are some depraved individual, possessed by demons to have two personalities? If so, the Godly pastors of this church will be happy to help you to exorcise these demons. First you need to show Jesus that you love Him by making a tithe to the church using the paypal button at the bottom.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

No, Seb, we are two people using the same name. This is my computer and Pastery uses it. I am using this site to help Pastery with her computer skills.
I do not acknowledge the existence of demons. Such things are not empirically possible.
