Hello fellow Christians. I am a 16 year old boy from Houston, TX. I attend church at IBCH Fellowship (International Baptist Church of Houston) every Sunday at 10:30 A.M. and Youth Service at 5:00 P.M. I am of a Filipino nationality, but I was born in America.
I will try to avoid as much controversy as I can, but judging by my notes that I've taken from previous sermons it seems that most of you are doing wrong. All of your statements seem biased and stereotypical to the extent in that you’re verbally abusing others. I’ve read most of your topics about how you genuinely hate most countries, because of their history, government, or just because of how they look. Luke 6:37-38 says not to Judge and Accuse those who are being guilty. Why do you express your hatred in such ways instead of praying for those who are misguided? Aren’t we supposed to love our enemies now matter how much wrong they do or show just as it says in Luke 6: 27-33. We are all saved by Jesus’ sacrifice, so why do you damn others? It also seems that you are mixing your republican politics with the teachings of the Lord. From what I read in 1 Timothy 6: 3-4 It seems that this is exactly what is happening on this forum. There is a lot of Fighting and Quarrels on this forum that are really unnecessary. While I was reading most of these topics I’ve noticed these “Awards” that are given to “True Christians.” Shouldn’t we be secretive about these things in where God only knows? My pastor has been talking about those who tithe and pray. There are those who pray in public, so they can be seen by others, and those who pray in a room by themselves, so that they can be with the Lord. Where in tithing, some people make sure that someone is watching, and others give just to give to the Lord.
I hope I didn’t hope I insulted any of you in any way, but I just wanted to say something. It almost made me cry reading most of these topics. Thank you reading this, and please don’t think any less of me, because I’m a teen. Remember 1 Timothy 4:12.
