Just because you're pansexual or bisexual doesn't mean you go around having sex. That's an unfair assumption to make.

I have plenty of friends who are bisexual who are in fact virgins. Actually, most heterosexuals I know are actually more inclined to sleep around then the bisexuals, pansexuals, lesbians, and gays I know.

It would be stupid to say I am a virgin, because that would be a blatant lie. But I'm also going to add, that I've only ever had sex with one person, and the last time I checked, one person isn't equivalent to sleeping around with anything that moves ^^

It is not my place to insist that you believe one thing or another. I do insist that visitors here acknowledge that the focus of our discussion be on what the Bible actually says-- not on what they think it says or what they want it to say. The forum here was created to discuss the whole truth of the Bible.



I find myself doubting that. Again, many in your generation think that they have actually read something when in fact they scanned it in an effort to pass a test.

Well, I have noticed that every Asian person that I've ever seen looks Asian. And my admittedly limited experience with African Americans has indicated that the young people are every bit as superficial and spoiled as their paler counterparts.

A 19 year old former co-worker of mine who was earning over thirty thousand dollars straight out of high school and living at home was complaining about the burden of his car payments.

And he was convinced that every single customer that he waited on was unreasonable and difficult. Never occurred to him that work is sometimes hard and that our employers had a right to expect us to put down our phones and stop texting while talking to our customers.



Now, this is where it gets interesting. Because you came here and started throwing around statements about sex with this person or that regardless of gender and now you are saying that you aren't having sex at all.

Honestly, I think your intro and the info supplied therein was intended for shock value. Let me offer you a tip. If you had gone with the last statement in the quote above, and just announced, "I am a virgin" you would have gotten your shock value.

Point of order-- I have not threatened anyone, neither electronically or otherwise. I might choose to give you an intellectual thrashing--which is part of my point in bringing up Bugs Bunny, but you came here to disagree with us--my other point in bringing up Bugs Bunny.

I don't know who you are (or care actually,) or where you are, but I did not zing some electronic communication into your house telling you that you are wrong about the Bible (you are, by the way) and threatening you with any form of sanction or punishment for being wrong. You came here to tell us that we are wrong.

The Bible spells out how, when, and to whom punishment will be meted-- as well as by Whom.

God calls the shots. The Bible makes that clear over and over and over and over and over and over (man, this is getting exhausting) again.

I didn't write the Bible and I am not hiding behind it. If it is standing out there in front of me it is because I am not so impertinent as to declare myself a font of wisdom as to the truth of the universe.

One Sunday, it's a sin; the next Sunday it's not.

What I see coming from this forum is people trying to deny things that are considered "accepted flaws" of a religion. It's easy to say that your reference guide was written very long ago by people so ignorant they likely couldn't verify any of their information (earth not being flat, earth not being center of universe, peoples ages being 500 or so years, and the earth being 3000-4000 years old) and follow up by saying that at least the morals are in the right place and god didn't want to share with them all the information on the world at that time.

Again you lack any discernment at all! That bit about "it's easy to say" is wrong because we do not say it!

Nowhere do we here at LBC say that the people who wrote the the "reference guide" to which we refer were ignorant. We explain that the "reference guide" itself was written by God -- the perfect, all-knowing God that you claim to worship-- and therefore cannot be imperfect.

And we sure as shootin' NEVER said, throw out the cosmological stuff and just stick to its offerings on moral guidance.

That is exactly what we preach against!

And maybe I am losing track here, but with your "acceptance of flaws" in religion, isn't that exactly what you are trying to say?

Throw out or dismiss what doesn't work in this day and age, and follow what seems appropriate, now.

The problem is that God, as defined in the Bible, is unchanging (unlike the popes) and what He says was right and good before Him two millennia ago is still right and good before Him today-- and what is abomination before Him before remains sinful today.

Instead you go the other route defending things such as the age of the earth, it's flatness, etc.

We are doing you a favor in preparing you for a world in which devoted, determined Bible-believers are running things. When Sarah Palin gets elected in 2012, many of the Bible statues we talk about will become law.

And we make all the facts about the True Christian Religion apparent, even the parts that some milquetoast "Christians" think are crazy.

You cannot see the extreme illogic of claiming to worship a deity-- the knowledge of whom was given to humankind through a book which clearly asserts itself to be the revealed truth of that deity-- and then you turn around and decide that the book which gave you the truth of your God, cannot be counted on to tell you the truth about your God.

That, my friend, is circular logic.
