    Hello everyone!

Hello all. I wish not to reveal my real name for...certain purposes I choose not disclose on this forum, but anyway, here it goes.

I go by Conscript. I live in Ohio and am a non-denominational Christian, but read only from the KJV 1611 Bible. I love nature. Any day I don't have to work, I usually spend all day walking around my areas several local nature preserves. I enjoy taking in all the beauty and wonder that God bestowed upon the earth. I have taken to praying and meditating in secluded areas of the preserves because they are the most quite and comforting. You may think that is a bit silly, but, really, go out and sit in a nature preserve. Take in all that God has put forth for us to admire and give thanks for . It was really wondrous to see a whole herd of deer walk right in front of me, and immediately gave thanks to God for sending me such a majestic sight.

In addition to prayer and meditation, I like to do tai chi. It's good exercise and relaxing for someone who's pent up in a factory for 8 or 10 hours a night. It has also improved my breathing functions as well. I have mild asthma which is mostly controlled with an inhaler, but tai chi opens up my airways. I don't know why, but I feel so relieved after a good session of it.

I'm also greatly interested in physics. Just figuring out how God set up the universe to work...it really opens ones eyes to just how perfect God designed Earth and the universe.

If you have any additional questions, go ahead and post them for me. Aside from anything lewd or intrusive, I'm not shy.

Next time you're out walking in the woods, just find a patch of grass, sit down, and pray. Also, have you ever tried tai chi?

I go by Conscript. I live in Ohio and am a non-denominational Christian, but read only from the KJV 1611 Bible.
So what church do you go to? What is your favorite scripture? How did you come to find Jesus?

I'm suspicious of meditation, but if God supplied you with a freezer full of venison while you were out there, I guess it's okay with him.

Tai Chi is a form of Satan worship, I suggest you stop doing that right now. You're doing nothing but inviting demons into your body!

Then you'll love our science section it's chock full of good Creation science.

Uh..... what exactly do you consider lewd or intrusive?
PROOF: Atheists are too stupid to understand the Bible!

Proverbs 13:24(KJV): "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."

Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

            1. I don't like my name on the internet, so with most sites I use, I am either anonymous or something generic and forgettable.

            2. I don't go to any one church. I am non-denominational. My favorite scripture...coming from the best Book ever written, I cannot just choose one passage and say, "Oh I love this!" But if I had to choose a section of the Bible I like, Psalms is my favorite.

            3. Unfortunately, it is illegal to hunt on a nature preserve. I wish I would have been in a field when that happened. I did manage to bag an 8 point buck this weekend though.

            4. How is tai chi worshiping Satan? I just want to know why. Please don't mistake that with insolence.

            5. I'll have to check out the Creation Science channel. It will further my knowledge of God's workings in the universe.

            6. Lewd: You could probably figure that one out.
Intrusive: Asking my name, where I live, bank account, those sorts of things.

It is not about quick replies but more so about them being worthwhile replies.

How did you come to find Jesus? People usually have a wonderful story to tell as to how they came to know Jesus and of the positive impact being blessed with His presence in their lives.

I was raised in a good home. The foundation for Jesus always being in my life was there since I was born. I've just progressed further in my relationship with Jesus and with God throughout my life. There's no happy ending fairy tale with my relationship with Jesus and with God. It's always been there, and it shall always be there.

Before I became a True Christian™, I studied Tai Chi for many years under a disciple of Li De Yin (before switching to Hapkido). It's surprisingly subtle, especially with modern Competition Tai Chi, but there is a very, very clear Taoist underpinning to it all. The yin, the yang and a reconciliation between them. A flow, if you will. It all sounds just so nice and harmonious, doesn't it? It should! It's a religion!

Over the last 2,000 years, Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism have mingled, influenced each other and more. The beliefs are not homogeneous, but all are about as humanist as it gets with any of the world's main religions. What is wrong with humanism? Everything.

The power of Satan is nothing compared to that of our sweet Baby Jesus. However, it is varied. It's not always in-your-face, obvious Evil. Most of the time, I think, it's plain insipid God-omission. Humanism is the very height of this... people going about their lives without a single thought of their Creator. Not a care in the world that their very souls are going to burn forever in Hell. Instead, they think in terms of reliance upon fellow men and exhibit deviant optimism in our own self-determination as a people and as individuals.

It's no accident that modern Satanism, at its core, is basically a focused, fanciful form of ultimate humanism... individualism, where everyone is a god unto themselves, and everyone is out for themselves.

                        Re: Hello everyone!

OK I'll take your word for it barton. I thought it was just a nice way to exercise without too much heavy lifting and it was good for my asthma. Know any other ways I can mitigate it's symptoms? It's just mild asthma, but I will still have an attack every so often, and the tai chi was helping, but if it is Satan worship, I will do the Christian thing and stop it at once.

And ma'am, I'm afraid to say that the separation is due in part to my Catholic upbringing. When I was around 13, I had a thought. It was, "Why all the tradition?" I pondered on it for a week and realized that praising God is the only thing that matters. He is the only one we can talk to. We don't need all these "Saints" and Mary and Jesus statues adorning churches to show our love for Him. Idol worship goes against scripture after all. So I talked about it to the priest. Well...he gave me what equates to a run around the bush about ideals and Catholics, "Keeping the Faith alive". I said to myself, "Bullshit" and walked out of the church, never to return. I disavowed myself (don't know if that's the right usage of the word, but I'll get corrected if I am not using proper grammar) from Catholicism, and I remain just Christian to this day. I don't think I need to label myself as a member of a certain sect of Christianity to prove my love to the Lord.

I think that some level of humanism plays a part in todays world. I had a thought when I was reading your post barton. I thought, "Do we not rely on our fellow man every day? Do we not rely on them to be cautious on the road ways, or tutor our children correctly in our schools? Do we not rely on the farmers to plant and harvest the grain, and the butcher to chop the meat?" But I may be taking it out of context. Please let me know if I am. I have a bad habit of that.

I am glad however you saw the error of your ways and walked away from satan. I do hope you have ZERO to do with your parents now too! That type of abuse of a child(meaning you) is heinous.

Must one be baptized to be a Christian? I was baptized when I was two, when I had no choice in the matter. I have since renounced that. Again, I am a non-denominational Christian, ma'am. I don't like labels.

Also, I'm afraid I live with my parents . I just don't have the financial means to move out on my own yet. My father worked for a company called Faurecia, but was laid off and the company is paying for him to go back to school. He has an interview for another job in a nearby town in a couple of weeks. He is a Tool and Die Engineer by trade. He is Christian, but not Catholic. The Catholic baptism was my MOTHER'S idea which she talked him into. If I speak ill of her, I won't be following the 5th. I forgive her for her error though. She isn't Catholic anymore either, thank the Lord.
