    Re: Negro Hater Reporting In

I have read the posts here, and this Ink person really has no idea..

First, requesting that we avoid insults - then launching into this tirade!

In the end, i am being judged the lord and he alone.

The concepts of God, and His Love - and love more generally perhaps, reminded me of something C. S. Lewis wrote; maybe I could quote a small portion of it here:

Love is something that one person has for another person. If God was a single person, then before the world was made, He was not love. Of course, what these people mean when they say God is love is often something quite different: they really mean “Love is God”. They really mean that our feelings of love, however and whenever they arise, and whatever results they produce, are to be treated with great respect. Perhaps they are: but that is something quite different from what Christians mean by the statement “God is Love”. They believe that the living, dynamic activity of love has been going on in God forever and has created everything else.
    C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity 1952

Whether or not you agree with Lewis, he had at least read The Bible.
    Proverbs 15:9

The “living, dynamic activity of love” that “has been going on in God forever and” which “has created everything else” (as Lewis puts it) is responsible for God's HATRED of those who reject His Perfect Love:
    Deuteronomy 16:22
    Psalm 11:5
    Proverbs 6:16
    Isaiah 1:14
    Hosea 9:15
    Romans 9:13
    Revelation 2:6
    Revelation 2:15

and the everlasting TORMENT prepared for those who follow SATAN:
    Proverbs 16:5
    Hosea 9:16
    Revelation 14:11

all of which seems somewhat at variance with what inkaddictionpervert had said in the post where Divine judgement seemed so eagerly to be anticipated.

@mitza..im still young and have a lot to learn. i dont quite understand what you meant by tirade, but as i stated in the introduction section, I was raised Christian and Roman Catholic, so pardon me if we dont meet eye to eye on some things. I went through communion and confirmation and have been baptized. I understand the ten commandments and am always trying to better myself as a person and as a christian/catholic. to my knowledge, the old testament wasnt a focal point like the new testament was.

It is quite impossible to be a Christian and a catholic at the same time. You mentioned The Ten Commandments, and I would draw your attention to

        EXODUS 20
4 Thou shalt not make vnto thee any grauen Image, or any likenesse of any thing that is in heauen aboue, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water vnder the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow downe thy selfe to them, nor serue them: For I the Lord thy God am a iealous God, visiting the iniquitie of the fathers vpon the children, vnto the thirde and fourth generation of them that hate me:

Verse 4 starts off by prohibiting the making of ANY image.
Not SOME images - ALL images. (A moulded image is still a graven image, because the mould has to be engraved - and in any case God strongly denounces molten idols elsewhere.)

        Catholics have images everywhere.

Verse 5 goes on to prohibit BOWING to these images. The Bible does not say that it is only wrong to make a statue if you intend to bow down to it.

The Bible says that it is wrong to make ANY statues.
The Bible also says that it is wrong to bow to statues.

The Ten Commandments explicitly state that to do so is iniquity.

        EXODUS 20
5 Thou shalt not bow downe thy selfe to them, nor serue them: For I the Lord thy God am a iealous God, visiting the iniquitie of the fathers vpon the children, vnto the thirde and fourth generation of them that hate me:

Catholics bow to their iniquitous images all the time - and not only bow, but curtsey and even prostrate themselves before crucifixes (a type of graven image) and other idols, repeatedly! To do so is to hate God.

        EXODUS 20
5 Thou shalt not bow downe thy selfe to them, nor serue them: For I the Lord thy God am a iealous God, visiting the iniquitie of the fathers vpon the children, vnto the thirde and fourth generation of them that hate me:

There is a thread on this subject HERE

We do not want you to be sad. We want you to read The Bible. What it says is quite clear.

        Here is that passage again:

6 And shewing mercy vnto thousands of them that loue mee, and keepe my Commandements.

        ©1611

That is just one example of how catholics do the OPPOSITE of what The Bible tells us to do. There are many, many others.
