Here in the south-eastern corner of the world we do not have any negroes to observe - in our early colonial period we had English, Welsh & Irish slaves (called "convicts") and black people were prohibited from entering, for the reason: they were black (the "White Australia Policy"). As a result I have only been able to observe negroes by travelling to Africa - not an experience I would recommend unless necessary for business reasons. Entertainers typically get payment in advance, twice if possible, then "accidently" go to Switzerland (or Austria where similar luxury is available for ½ the price and there are less communists) so it is not a location where a True Christian musician would perform.

It occurred to me reading your post that since Canaan was cursed to be "a servant of servants" or "the lowest slave" . Genesis 9:25 . then all we need do do is to notice where such a category comes from, to know who they are.

I read this post and was astounded. This guy is a disgusting example of racism and hate. To mock the poor children of Ham is evil. To anyone reading this: WE DO NOT CONDONE RACISM. It is people like this that try to preach their hate and then expect to be accepted by God's children that upset me. He probably writes up leaflets spouting his racist rants and then goes to atheist hate conventions and tries to jew people out of their money for his worthless wares.

I am new here, but how are atheists racist? to my knowledge, atheists denounce God, not a specific group of people. Isnt assuming someone is a racist because of their choice in life, just as ungodly as the racist original poster?

You see, the KJV Bible says that God hates the sin AND the sinner, and Jesus is God (John 10:30 I and my Father are one.).

Lev 20:23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

Before you complain about the the fact that the verses I cited were from the Old Testament, as if that somehow makes them worthless, consider this:

In the Old Testament, it says that God hates "all workers of iniquity" (Ps 5:5).

In the New Testament, what does Jesus say that he is going to do to these workers of iniquity? Is he going to love them? Is he going to be their pal, and tell them that it's ok to be themselves? Let's see...

Matt 13:41-42 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

He died for those that BELIEVE.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, but have everlasting life.

I understand where you are coming from and I am not looking to have a long conversation over this. I believe in Jesus and Follow the 10 commandments. I have said before in the topic on abortion that being that I work for the Army, I cant go to church as much as i would like to, but i do see the chaplain on a weekly basis. I am repenting for my sins and trying to be a better christian. We got off on a bad note and i apologize for that, I hope things between us can become better.

No, it does not say "God is love". God is the all-knowing, all-powerful Creator of the universe, not an emotional concept.

And the verse John 3:16 clearly states that only those who believe are saved. A followup which might clarify it for you -- and one I'm sure you missed, since it doesn't fit on the John 3:16 bumper sticker -- is John 3:18.
