    Hello!

    Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forums and would just like to introduce myself.

    My name is Robert.

I'm very new to all of this and was pointed towards these forums by a fellow brother. I can't wait to absorb all of the knowledge that everyone has to offer!

Thank you in advance for being so helpful!

    Re: Hello!

Also, I go to the Friendship Baptist Church in Atlanta.

To be honest, I don't have one particular favorite verse. I enjoy the entire book of Revelations.

I came to find Jesus very recently, about two years ago. I met a friend though my brother and he is steadily showing me the light.

      Re: Hello!

Now this is what I like to see! A pleasant introduction.

Thank you so much for coming over here and introducing yourself, Robert and WELCOME!

Please tell us just how you came to find the Lord?

I also love the Book of Revelation.

Are you married Robert and if so, how many sons has your wife birthed in God's honor?

Gosh, I truly cannot say enough how happy I am to see a lovely genuine Introduction for a change.

      God Bless!

      Phebe Carlyle.

      There's Jesus here,
Just see what He offers me....
      Down here my sins forgiven,
Up there a home in heaven
Praise God, That's the way for me!!

I briefly described it earlier, but in more detail...

I was over at my brother's friend (Brad)'s house a couple of years ago and his parents asked me my religion preference. I did not have an answer. As you can imagine, I was guided in the right direction and I'm slowly learning all I can!

I am not married, yet. God has not shown me the right woman, yet. I'm patiently waiting, however

So you were atheist or agnostic before hand?

It is nice to know that this Brad fellow had your best interest in mind in showing you Jesus!

Do you attend Bible Study Classes, Robert?

Also do you adhere strictly to the KJV1611?

I know that the Pastors here will show you God in ways you have never dreamed before! I for one cannot wait for them to get their hands on you, so you can feel the love of Jesus flowing through you even more than it does now!! They are very hands on and will be willing to embrace you, just as Jesus does.

I suppose I would have to have considered myself agnostic, because I have always believed in a higher being and been comforted by the presence.

I am also very thankful that Brad has my back. My one and only concern is that he seems to show homosexual tendencies I worry sometimes for him and pray that he does not succumb to that evil.

I do indeed attend Bible Study and the KJV1611 is my one and only guidebook to life.

I reckon that was Jesus constantly niggling at your heart! (the comfort)

Well, if he reads the Bible he will realize that such a life choice is an abomination in the eyes of God. Perhaps you should do a good Bible reading with him - point out Leviticus 22, Deuteronomy 23, as well as Genesis 19 and also Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 5, 1 Corinthians 6, II Corinthians 2 and also Revelation 22. Then he will realize that his homer choices are not OF GOD.

I do indeed attend Bible Study and the KJV1611 is my one and only guidebook to life.
I am glad you said that, as many people whom call themselves christians, read per-versions of God's Word. Now, if this Brad fellow is reading, studying and absorbing the KJV1611 too, why do you think he is making such advances at you?

                  Re: Hello!

Hi Bob, darned glad to meet you. Not a lot of time before I leave for Church.

How many sons has your wife produced for Jesus?

How has the hunting season been trating you?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

                      Welcome, Robert!

After two years, you should surely have read the Bible in its entirety at least twice. If you have not, I suggest re-examining your priorities. When not working (or do you attend school?), what do you do with your time? Do you watch television, or play video games instead of reading the Bible?

Be sure to check out the "Bible in a Year" section on this forum for True Christian™ discussion of each and every chapter of the Bible!

You do need to be cautious. In my five-year truck stop ministry, I have learned many things. Among them, that there is little you can do to stop a homosexual desperate to succumb to his lusts. He must want Jesus more than he wants Joey if he is to reach Heaven!
                      Bible boring? Nonsense!

Amen! I love Revelation, especially the part where Jesus comes back riding a horse with a sword that sticks from His mouth.

                              Revelation 19.
11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Oh and thanks for inquiring about Freehold. It's here.
