    Blessings from accross the pond

Greetings to my friends and fellow worshippers, from the mighty United Kingdom.

I recently found Jesus after 20 years of no faith and sins. My life was a mess, my wife left me and I turned to homosexuality and drugs. Last year, during a drunken episode, Jesus was revealed to me during a vivid dream and I finally had the push to turn back to our saviour. I want to spend the rest of my life cleansing myself of my sins and helping others to the path of the lord.

Faith in the lord has given me a new direction in life and helped me to overcome cancer.

    Welcome.

I see you're a member of a car fans' forum.

Tell us about your favourite Bible Verses friend and what really brought you here. Was it car related?

Do you attend Church? Are you married?

    YIC, McUinnean of that Ilk.

Thanks McUinnean. I'm on the path of righteousness now. Although I'm not married I am seeing a nice lady at the minute, we've not had sex yet but I do plan to propose around the table with my family at christmas. Maybe then we can get married and reproduce.

Yes, I like cars. Mainly small, economical ones which aren't harmful to this brilliant world that god created. I'm a member of a few car related websites from the UK, which is the home of "multi-culturalism", yet seems to favour mosques and negroes. I need to move to America.

I just happened to recognise the name from one of the car sites I occasionally use (BTTOS site).

Not sure what you mean about cars being bad though.

Tell us more about your relationship with HIm and His Word then son.

Finding my faith has been a blessing.

I was at one point one of gods servants. Attending church to rejoice and to show my worth to the lord were frequent. But I was young.

It is only recently that I've started to believe in his might again, he is the creator. It's recently that I've started to read the bible also, although it only seems to lead to more questions than answers.

Genesis 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare

Did the lord create his wife? As Cain slew Abel, and god was unhappy with Cain, why did he do this? The seed of Cain should not have been passed.

I look forward to some guidance. Or do I take the writings of the bible too literally?

            Hi Mike.

No, you can not take the Bible too literally. It is what we stand for.

Don't forget that God created people twice, starting in Genesis 1:26, and then again (just to be sure I suppose) in Genesis 2:7.

Oh, and could you please capitalize our beloved word "Bible"? Thanks.
            Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Do you not find it slightly un-natural to be propelled forwards at high speeds by an engine that harms gods planet and creatures?

It is almost as un-natural as homosexuality.

                  Hi Mike!

I don't think there is anything wrong with Sister Lisa's car. Maybe you meant something more along the lines of this?

This car looks about as unnatural as homosexuality, in my opinion.
"Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him." What is so un-natural about this car, it only has 5.0 Litre V8. The only time any creatures get harmed is if they cross road without looking.

                      (Psst... it's God)

Of course not: God gave us dominion over everything.

                      Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Admittedly that car doesn't "creepeth" like, say, a Golf, but the same rule still applies: we can do whatever we want with God's earth.

I'm not sure about small economical cars, though. Your country has produced the rather cool
RollsRoyce 100 EX (which is a very nice colour), and

Bristol Fighter T - - also quite stylish.

Either would serve very well here in Australia, but I don't think they're particularly economical, are they?

I could upgraded to one of these, but they are bigger and harder to park.
