    Hello from an atheist.

Hello everybody, I am an atheist, and I must say your forum is quite interesting! It is quite rare to find a group of Christians who have actually bothered to read the Bible and are able to construct arguments beyond the immature "God loves everybody!!!1" trash you see so often on the internet.

Now, I have actually read the KJV Bible, and though I don't agree with or believe in its conclusions, I do have a measure of respect for people who do so, especially when beset on all sides by modern-day reasoning.

There are some things that I see that we DO agree on, though. I find your views on the free-market very palatable, though I don't feel that you go far enough. Personally, I believe government decentralization and de-regulation should apply to everything, including areas of "vice", but to each their own.

Anyways, I am looking forward to peacefully exchanging ideas with you, and I promise not to post any "atheist propaganda" in return for using your forum. Sound fair?

Thank you, Mr. Enoch. I am under no illusions as to who's forum I'm on, and just as I don't appreciate evangelicals at my door, I promise not to act as they do.

It is obvious you people have much more Biblical knowledge than me though, and I am always interested in learning.

I decided to self-identify as atheistic when I decided there isn't enough evidence for me to believe in a God. Nothing more, nothing less. Does that answer your question, Reverend?

Evidence? How much do you need? I mean take a look around you, the earth and all of it's wonder and grandeur. My goodness, the universe all the stars. No I think that is more than enough. Pick up a Holy KJV1611, turn to Capture one, The Book of Genesis.

No, it doesn't because something in life has to turn you from a believer to a non-believer in a split-second. Were you molested? Did you see your parents murdered? Did you flunk a test after praying to pass it?

Perhaps I wasn't being clear. I have never been a believer. I was raised in a secular household. When I said I'd read the KJV Bible, I meant I did so in a critical, rather than faith-based, way.

Or are you advocating a position where everybody is born with a faith in God, Reverand?

I don't believe you. If you really would have read the entire KJV1611 Holy Bible you would be a believer.

Your analogy fails because it'd require him to say that he'd immediately be a pastor or reverend, not just a believer.

                      Right...

The Holy Bible (KJV1611) has been given to us by God.
How can you compare that to secular lies written by so called "scientists"?

                        ....nothing of the sort.

The scientific book is not inspired by God. There are no obvious truths in the scientific book like there are in the 1611 King James Bible.

Everybody in this forum acts as they're the chosen people of God almighty, just by reading that book, my point is that not everybody has that feeling when reading the bible. I don't know for you but I don't always believe what a book says, whatever it says. It has to be more convincing than a few inspiring lines.

                            Impossible.

If you really read the entire KJV1611 Holy Bible you will notice it is so perfect, so extremely consistent, so crystal clear, that no ordinary person could ever have created it. So the sheer quality of the book proves that it is created by someone with capabilities far beyond that of a human being.

Since the Holy Bible clearly could not have been written by a mere mortal and also clearly states to be the word of God: 2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" logic dictates there can be only one conclusion. God exists and the Holy Bible is His word!

I think your problem is that you did not actually read the entire Holy Bible. Your opinion of the Holy Bible is based on hearsay. If you actually paid some attention during that education of yours instead of masturbating all the time you would have learned that you have to research the facts before you draw your conclusion. The facts here being the contents of the Holy Bible.

Well what is it going to be? Ignorance or enlightenment? Heaven or hell ?

That's the difference between us, we're going to Heaven and you're not you believe in nothing and we believe in Lord Jesus Christ. Also, do you believe we read some horrible book like Catcher In The Rye and believe that every popular teen is a phony? No, we don't and obviously you wouldn't believe that because you believe in nothing.

Your entire thought process is on a basis of nothing yet you sit here trying to justify your non existent argument.

As for the "few inspiring lines" I'd like to correct you and say there's thousands of inspiring lines. I think that you really should read the Bible before you judge it.
