The word of the Bible is fact, you will find no satire. How can you make these biased claims when you have not opened up the KJB. You cant even quote scripture to back up your wild claims.

As you can see by my screenname, I am an open minded, polite, and reasonable atheist and I joined this forum to open up intelligent discussions for us all to ponder.

Hey dude! When you say your atheist, does that mean spiritual but not religious, or are you like totally against the whole idea of you know... hidden mysteries. ?

I'm not the same kind of Christian as these people, and I'm not exclusively a Christian either. There is much profound wisdom and esoteric beauty in the bible though. U just have to know which parts to pay attention to and which parts to not. If your spiritual like me, you start to get a natural feel for these things.

I think if you like start meditating,, maybe go vegan, and open yourself up to the ultimate nature of reality, you'll start to realize that we are really all spiritual beaings having a human experience like Deepak Chopra says. I like to visualize a radiating ball of light in my heart chakra, and i spread out metta (loving-kindness) to the entire world, especially the people here who obviously need it so much!

And even though I'm pretty close to being enlightened, I'm totally going to come back as a bodhisattva until these ppl and everyone else is enlightened too and learns how to forge there own MERCABAH.

But ya, I hope ur totally open to spirituality even if ur not Christian. Still, you should totally read the Bible and find some parts U like. It has a lot to say about love, and charity, and kindness, and hellping ur neigbor. These are profound truths found in all faith traditions, esoteric or otherwise.

There are no hidden mysteries. Everything is explained in the Bible.

That's right. You are a false christian. If you had actually understood the profound wisdom in the Bible you would know that you are supposed to pay attention to all the parts - not just the ones you like.

I agree. You should definately start reading the KJV. You will see that it is so perfect, so free of contradictions and yet so easy to understand that it has to be the Word of God.
