A printing press makes copies. Computers (if properly programed) can translate a document from one languange to another, instead of a human translating it one word and/or phrase at a time.

There are no "proper" translations.
If someone were to translate this post into, say, spanish or french, there are going to be words that mean two different things in the other language, and the translator would basically be forced to guess which is the right meaning using context clues. It could be close to what the original message was, but it wouldn't be exact or "proper".

No wonder you are confused. The 1611 King James Bible is 17 inches tall, and opens to 30 inches wide. It weighs a bit over 30 lbs. The last one sold at auction sold for approximately $521,000. Even photographic facsimiles sell for $1400. It is hard to believe that a book such as that would slip by your fingers.

But in case I am mistaken, I want to say that anyone so cavalier with half a million dollar would be an asset to Landover Baptist Church if we can only lead you to salvation. As a member, your tithes alone could support our church handsomely.

You are forgetting one insurmountable fallacy with your example. Your post does not have God watching over the entire process of translation as did the 1611 King James Bible. Your post would be translated by a machine or a fallible human being and not an omnipotent God.

You can't fool me. Did you not notice my name, Bible Student? I know my bibles. I have never run across mention of a small print 1611 King James Bible further more Walmart has never sold a 1611 King James Bible. See the important part is the 1611. The others you come across are revisions, bastardizations of the one true God-breathed scriptures.
