Dude, run. I swear, these people have no love in their hearts except for "True" Christians.

Love thy neighbour? I think they skipped that part.
Job 38:11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

        Re: Introduction

I believe the people here would say "Read the Bible! It says that God is real in a book!"

Personally, my advice would be yes, read the bible and draw your own conclusions. Possibly speak to your local priest? Everyone's road to faith is different, and I wish you the best of luck on yours.I hope you find what you are looking for

          Re: Introduction

And just so I'm clear (As the cowards on this site don't allow you to send private messages to argue your position) I use the word 'priest' as a general term for a leader in faith. Which word would you rather I use? Bishop? Shepard? Vicar?

Burning in Hell for all eternity is not enough reason?

Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

Aren't we just saying the same thing? Or was I supposed to specify the KJV?

Also as far as I am aware, it is only catholic priests who are reputed to use the items that Wide-Open described. I didn't realise I was being that specific.

You said to read the Bible but encouraged him to "draw his own conclusions". No. No one should question the Bible or try to interpret it for themselves. The Bible is what it is, and says what it says.

2nd Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Hi Packer! Is that your real name or is it a nick name for some habit of yours?

You know, wanting to understand God is a natural thing. He is not hard to find, in fact, he has been by yourside since you were a child. I suggest you read the KJV Bible. It is chock full of wonderful stories of adventure, some is a bit racy too.
The goal of the stories is to let you know about God, what He wants you to do, how He wants you to behave and how He wants you to deal with the complex problems of modern society.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I'm glad to see that you at least realize that Mormoons don't believe in Jesus, who is the only legitimate God. Mormoons aren't Christians in any sense of the word.

Please tell us more about yourself. How old are you? How many sets of magic underwears do you have? How many mommies do you have?

Would you care to tell us which branch of Mormon you are in?

Brewsterite perhaps, or maybe Cutlerite? How about Church of Christ of the Children of Zion or Congregation of Jehovah's Presbytery of Zion?

You see, Landover tracks over 100 branches and sects of Mormonism. It is important for us to know which sub-cult of the confusion Joseph Smith has sown that you belong to.
Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.
