-and on the topic of the clock, what im referring to with that metaphor is that god made the rules of the land so to speak, and left it to run its course. Its a pseudo creationist perspective that can lend credence to science, while still giving god credit, kind of a win win for everyone.

don't hate god, and I certainly don't hate you, you seem like a great guy. What I am saying about the hate is, throughout this forum it seems that if someone disagrees more often than not the person is called something offensive, not politely disagreed with, but hated on.

It's not so different than the way Jesus preached.

That is normal for an illegitimate child of Christ. Don't faint when we rebuke you. The anger you are feeling is just the demons leaving you.

if i could accept jesus as my lord and savior and still view the world from a scientific perspective, i would. But according to you guys I can't its an all or nothing thing, which i can't do.

in all honesty my good sir, my parents may say they are baptist, but its more like Christian when convenient (divorced, my mom is... eccentric, and my dad hasn't been to church in like 20 years).
I've never seen direct evidence proving or disproving god, but I am way to science oriented to believe in some of the stuff you guys believe. I'm to fond of theoretical astro-physics to believe in flat earth, or geo-centric theories.
