Alright, I have been watching these forums for a little while and I have to speak up. Just about every single person on this forum shows a absolute lack of understanding of even the most basic of science and no critical thinking skills. I will debunk a few of the claims made on this website now.
Light does not propogate but is just on or off:
Light does 'travel' at a speed of 3*10^8 m/s. This has been shown with Maxwell's equations which are not secret. All anyone has to do is search them in google or wikipedia. This has been verified by thousands of independant people. The reason it does not destroy things that it hits is because the particles has 0 rest mass. The particles are absolutely tiny and can pass between the atoms that make up most matter.
The flat earth theory:
This is ridiculous, it is common knowledge that the Earth is spherical. All you have to do is look at satelite pictures to see that. These claims about people falling off the bottom are invalid also. People do not fall downwards, experience a force toward the centre of the earth. The reason you cannot demonstrate this using a balloon as I have seen on this forum is because gravity is so weak. The only reason it works for the earth and people is because the Earth is just so heavy but yes, any two objects experience a force between them, however minute. I have also heard that jumping should cause you to land hundreds of miles in another direction. This is also wrong since the entire atmosphere is moving with the earth. You, as people are spinning with the earth and so when you jump you are still moving along with the earth.
I have only named these two things although there are countless other things that you are completely misguided in.
I will be happy to refute any of the claims that you make against science with the exception of the age of the earth and evolution due to the fact that there is reasonable evidence both ways for these claims and only these claims.
