You said why yourself, the Bible is a real book made to make you better. God wrote the Bible and we follow it to the letter as He intends. Because we love and care for others we tell them they are going to burn in Hell forever, just like I'm sure you'd tell someone reaching for a hot stove burner that it is hot and that they'd burn themselves. The big difference is that in your case if you say nothing they would only get a temporary burn while in our case if we say nothing they burn forever.
