I just felt that I needed to post here. A lot of people here seem to pretty much hate everybody except "True Christians" who seem to "know" the Bible from the cover to cover still not understanding its true meaning.

And this "True Christian" thing is truly discussing me. How you can even say something like that? Matthew 23:12 clearly say that:

"And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled; and whosoever shall humble himself shall be exalted."

God loves everyone, even atheists. You seem to be very ignorant to this fact so none of you is really worthy to call him self a "True Christian." We are all equal in eyes of God.

And as the Jesus said: "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 7:12. If just everyone remembered that we would live in a perfect world.

And yes I know what Old Testament says but New Testament was indented to replace the old. It comes all up to the passion and salvation of the Jesus Christ. Please understand the Bible before using it.

I know that I will get flamed by all of you. But I also know in my heart that I am right. Whatever you "True Christians" say.

Please accept everyone. Do not be like Muslims.

The Bible is fairly easy to understand. All you have to do is read it.

God loves everyone, even atheists. You seem to be very ignorant to this fact so none of you is really worthy to call him self a "True Christian." We are all equal in eyes of God.

• Proverbs 6:16-19 "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."
• Deuteronomy 12:31 "You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods."
• Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

Did you even open your Bible? You clearly didn't read it. From the New Testament:

• John 7:24 "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
• Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
• John 15:6 "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."
• Mark 9:43 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the firethat never shall be quenched"
• Mark 9:47 "And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire"

I am awaiting your apology for not reading the Bible, lying and insulting True Christians™.

Well, let me put your mind at rest, as you've obviously put your brain down to sleep, I see what you're trying to say but I think you've missed the point about God.

I think you should try first, to tell us about yourself, and then open your mind and think for yourself instead of harboring bigoted feelings towards Baptists.

Others have given Scripture to show the rest of your points wrong so I'm only covering this one.

Matthew 5:17-18
17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

We understand the Bible better than nearly anybody else in the world. Almost nobody else follows the Holy KJV 1611 Bible to the letter like we do, just as God intends it to be followed.

That is not just right. If something is, it is the Bible which you just can't understand only by reading. You need to know its history and also Biblical source theory.

And please forget about the Old Testament. Yes, it says how God hates us all but why did Jesus say such things then? He lied to us? No, just no. The God's opinion has obviously changed. The God loves all and would like to save everyone but it isn't possible because some people ignore him. He just gives us possibility to salvation. Use it or not it is up to you, but I think you see my point: He loves us. He would like to save us. Some people don't want to be saved. Stop using the Old Testament.

And I did not mean to insult you. I am just wondering why you all are full of such a hate (which reminds me of Muslims ) thus I am not going to apologize because there aren't "True Christians." Only Christians.

The Book of Psalms clearly states that:

Psalm 34:2: My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [thereof], and be glad.

Psalm 44:8: In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

Romans 9:13: As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

You do realize, of course, that Muslims "know" in their hearts that they are right. What one "knows" in one's heart is therefore not a reliable guide.

Why should we suddenly start ignoring half the Bible based on your word alone? The verses I quoted tell us the Old Testament is still relevant today. Admittedly parts of the OT are no longer valid thanks to Jesus' death but the Bible clearly tells us which parts those are.

We do not hate anyone except those that God tells us to hate. We love everyone, that is why we tell them they are going to burn in Hell as we are warning them of their fate if they do not repent and accept Him into their hearts.

Please prove that, using Scripture. Be sure to take into account the following:

Ephesians 3:3-4: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

And please forget about the Old Testament.

You've already been shown the words from Christ proving that we must not forget about the Old Testament.

OK, Jon. Let's put this into terms you'll understand more easily.

Remember Star Wars? Luke Skywalker isn't in Episode 1 or Attack of the Clones.

Jesus wasn't in the Old Testament. It's important to remember that before you blame Him for parting Red Seas and the various smitings of Egyptians, Canaanites and Moabites that he didn't actually commit in person. Thanks.

Perhaps, but reading what is actually in the Bible should at least be the first step. You clearly never did that.

Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Where did Jesus get those sayings from?

Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Leviticus 19:17-18 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

What did Jesus say when Satan tried to tempt Him?

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Where did Jesus get that from?

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Matthew 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Hmmm sounds familiar.

Psalms 110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Mark 14:27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

And where was it written?

Zechariah 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

30 pieces of silver? Is this foreshadowing Judas' betrayal?

Matthew 27:9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;

Nah, Jesus is just quoting the Old Testament again.

Zechariah 11:12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

So tell us more about this "historical context" in which we are supposed to treat 3/4ths of the Bible as toilet paper.
