Easy there, Mary Catherine. So you believe that the wafer you are eating is literally Jesus' flesh? That's just nasty.

What are your opinions on six day creation and the accuracy of the Noah's Ark story?

Has anyone mentioned to you that this is a Christian forum, not a Mary worshiping papist one? Unsaved NOT welcome!

"This is not a debate forum. The purpose of this site is to praise and glorify the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a place for Christians to fellowship [sic] and worship. The goal of the Landover Baptist Church forum is to draw people to Jesus Christ because Scripture confirms that salvation comes only through Him."

"Pastor" Ezekiel, if the "unsaved" are unwelcome what is the purpose of this site? From the quote above I would assume that since I am considered "unsaved" by you and other site administrators I would be a prime candidate for conversion.

Watch your tone with the True Christian™ men of this site, young lady.

            "
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." (1 Timothy 2:12)

And I seriously doubt that you are a realistic candidate for "conversion" (or being saved in general). Once you start eating human flesh and drinking blood you might as well be some weirdo soccer-playing vampire.

            Yours in Christ,

"Why would an unsaved person want to go to church anyway?" Probably to gain understanding, to be united with like-minded people, to be saved if they are not saved already, etc.

"Church is not a place for unsaved people...If you want to get someone saved, do it outside of the church. It's called 'evangelism.' We are tired of being criticized for our Godly policies! We evangelize over 50,000 souls a month outside our church! There is absolutely no reason for an unsaved person to be in church." This forum is not a church. There are no services conducted over the internet, people do not gather here to pray.

I do not see the reason you wished for me to read that post. Didn't Christ eat with sinners when he was still on earth? The Pharisees mocked him for it, but you are agreeing with them when you say that Christians ought to have nothing to do with sinners.

We are merely doing as Paul and John commanded us.

                1 Corinthians 5:11
But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

2 John 1:10-11If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

That is untrue. We post Sermons HERE. We conduct Prayers HERE.

This forum exists for the sole purpose of providing a place for True Christians(tm) to gather and uplift God's teachings. Papists are not Christians, as you know.

Are you inviting me out for dinner? I'm partial to porterhouse steaks, and I'll convert you over to Jesus and away from that antichrist pope before they bring my blueberry pie for dessert, I guarantee you.

You've got some real problems with your misinterpretation.

First of all, if you are going to be literal, why does the wafer still look, feel and taste like a wafer? Why is it not actual flesh? Why does the wine still taste like wine? Jesus had actual flesh and blood while he was here on Earth. This so-called miracle of transubstantiation your priests perform is a complete and utter fraud.

Secondly, if the wine becomes blood as you claim, how can you drink it? Genesis 9 first mentions this:
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, [which is] the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
God must mean it because it's also brought up in Leviticus 17:
10 And whatsoever man [there be] of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
11 For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul.
12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
What trips up you Catholics is your love of ritual. It's a very real indication of your true pagan roots and affirms your complete misunderstanding of faith. You all put so much importance in this trumped up ritual that you completely ignore what we're taught in Ephesians 2:
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Finally, you clearly do not have the Spirit in you. Else you would fully understand and appreciate that Jesus taught in parables and proverbs. His words were often figurative. He tells us this in John 16:
25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
We know he often used physical traits and experiences to describe in allegorical terms the spiritual realm. The best example is probably in John 6:
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Perhaps you believe that Christians never suffer physical hunger???

You've also got another problem. If you are actually eating His flesh and drinking His blood, does your digestive system not break it down? Do you not excrete His decayed remains into the toilet then? God promises that this will not happen in Acts 2:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Unfounded, literal dogma such as yours has no place in the 21st century. Open your eyes, young man!
