Then you will perish because God doesn't have time to fool with unbelievers.

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:"

"Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;"

Will you come to Jesus and let him come in you? Or continue to mock him?

It is your everlasting soul on the line.

    In Christ

this sounds like something someone would say to try to scare me into believing in God. i don't believe that I have an "everlasting soul" so this doesn't concern me. if i do? then i'll let God be the judge, not you.

abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Then I am sorry you wasted my time.

i was hoping to have an insightful back and forth exchange with human beings that think differently than i do. i find such exchanges to be excellent learning experiences and i'm always thirsty to learn more about the world and how it works, including who else lives here and how they think it works.

my father is the single smartest person i have ever met. he is also the kindest and hardest working person i know. i aspire to be even half the man he is. he is my best friend and has never led me wrong. i lean on him for advice and support often and i consider myself very lucky to have him in my life. i hope to be as good a father to my own children.
Your father is a God-damned fool, and a hellbound one at that.

Enjoy hell. I know that Jesus and I can't wait to watch you and your limp-wristed father burn in hell for all eternity. Oh, how we'll laugh at you as you scream in agony! Shout Glory!!

May I answer this question? I'm atheist but I have a take on this as well. Frankly, although an idea of Hell stimulates no reasonable possibility in my mind, I sometimes wish of a Hell for all the terrible people in the world. Unlike Baptists (I mean no offense in this), however, I only see the people without an ability to grieve their wrongdoings in Hell, and the cruel and nasty humans out there. The Baptists will probably counter me on this by saying that I will go to Hell, but to be honest... I will willingly go if it means all the wicked people will be roasting as well. Baptists, is it cruel of me to wish death and damnation to the wicked? Jesus said love your enemies, but this is literally imposible for me. There is a man in Spain who torchured 4 puppies to death. He taped their muzzles shut with duct-tape, squeezed their throats as they were laying wimpering limp in his hand, threw thew on the ground, made them eat their own feces, lit a flame to ones paw (whom he named cuatro feo or something along those linex), ear and muzzle for long priods of time, and he video taped this! He made a whole blog about it and did this not once, but twice! He said in the blog that they endured a total of 11 hours of this! None of the puppies survived, and I wish I could say the same about him. I wish his excruciating death. I wish his mouth was taped shut and he was burned and thrown around and made to eat his own feces. Does that make me a horrible person? Probably. Does it give meaning to why there could be a Hell? Definitely.

You are putting the cart before the horse here, partner. Remember, if the puppy killer repents before he dies, he would still go to Heaven.

Besides, there's no restrictions against killing any animal for any reason. I'm failing to see the sin here.

i consider myself to be a kind, moral, and just person. i treat all people with respect and dignity and i wish no harm on anyone. i try my hardest to make this world a better place. i do not need the threat of eternal damnation to get me to act this way. i do it because i was taught to be kind to others and to leave the world a better place than i found it. i've shown nothing but kindness here and have been met with insults and hostility toward myself and my family. something i wouldn't have expected from people who claim to be Christians. it seems people here are full of hatred for those who think differently than themselves. this is a common islamic teaching and something i didn't see coming from a "Christian" community. you people are one step away from crashing an airliner into a building....

i don't commit good deeds and noble intentions to gain admittance to Heaven. i do it because i believe that life on earth would be much better if everyone acted with compassion toward their fellow man.

Who cares what you think? Life on this earth isn't what's important. It's everlasting life up in Heaven with Jesus that counts.

That, plus avoiding the firey pits of hell (where the worm dieth not).
