To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

Just as I thought Cranky. An atheist co-worker of mine once told me I shouldn't hit women at all, but I didn't believe him. He rambled some nonsense about women being equal to men. I felt ill from the conversation so I left work to go workout.

I have been reading your thread, and thank you for your wise guidance to important topics on this site. I look forward to future discussions and learning from you on my journey to true salvation.

      God Bless

Like you, I too find women to be a bother most of the time. Aside from carrying my seed to bare sons of God and baking pies, I don't find much use in them. But as you've so righteously noted, "Who are we to question the will of God?".

          A question for you sir:

How many times do I have to ask a woman to do something before I must resort to physical violence? I really don't like repeating myself, and feel that time could be better served following His word.
Although Brother Cranky already gave the correct response, I will expand on his point a bit. It is the duty of all fathers and husbands to educate and lead their women. If words fail, then actions may be required. This can sometimes apply to women you are courting as well.

For the man is the head of the woman, just as Jesus is the head of the church.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
          Ephesians 5:22-24

Unfortunately, this does not apply to the waitresses, flight attendants, and nurses we encounter in our everyday lives. It seems many husbands and fathers neglect their manly duties, judging by the behavior of the great majority of females I am forced to deal with on a daily basis.

            Indeed. What a shame.

Yes, thank you! Is it not proof of His love that all such important questions are answered so flawlessly in the Good Book?

May the word of Christ be guided through my fists when needed!

              In Jesus name we pray.

So true, Brother James. The implied command should be enough for the first warning.
