  • Greetings from New Hampshire!

Hello everyone! My name is Ted and I'm an architect living in beautiful Wolfeboro Falls, New Hampshire!

Now before I go any further, I want you all to know that I was born in Saudi Arabia, so I am Middle-Eastern, but my parents moved to the U.S when I was 6 months old, so I consider myself to be as American as the next guy.

I grew up being forced by parents to practice Islam, but I never felt like it was the right thing to do, so at age 18, I left my family, changed my name and moved to New Hampshire. Once I was there, I did a lot of soul searching and converted to Christianity. I'm currently a proud member of The First Baptist Church in Wolfeboro Falls and I'm in a happy relationship with my life partner, Marshall.

I always liked Psalm 139. 8 - If I ascent up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
    If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

I don't believe that I found Jesus, I think he found me, and I'm grateful that he showed me the light. I've met some great people and learned a lot about myself since I converted.

I hope you guys are happy to have me! because I'm sure happy to be here!

    Re: Greetings from New Hampshire!

Welcome Ted, How many sons has your wife Marshall produced for Jesus?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Welcome, Ted! Praise Jesus you have been driven away from being a dirty turban wearing mud slime and started walking the path to become a Christian™!

Do you still speak to your desert dwelling "parents"?

A woman came up to me the other day, 12/6/2016 and said:
"But Mr. Winner, if GOD loves everyone then why is there so much suffering in the world?"

Because GOD doesn't love everyone. Too many people have this absurd idea in their heads that GOD is all loving.
If he was all loving, then murderers, thieves and homosexuals would be waiting for you in Heaven.

GOD doesn't open his gate to just anyone. Being a True Christian™ is like a Queue Jump ticket at Disney, we are guaranteed a ride with JESUS.

Praise the LORD and welcome. It's so wonderful that you are here. Are your parents still practicing Muslims?

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone!

Unfortunately my wife and I are unable to conceive a child, we're hoping to adopt one son named Luke.

I have not spoken to my parents since they began to force their false beliefs on me, and I hope I never see them again.

And no, I'm not a homosexual, Marshall is a woman. I do understand your concern though, it is a very unusual name.

As far as I know, they are still practicing Islam. I haven't heard anything from them since I walked out.

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, Ted, but I don't believe any True Christians™ here mentioned anything of the sort.

I'm wondering if you're feeling a little defensive about anything?

If your wife is unable to concieve, she has no value and you should enable her to abandon you. Then you can marry a wife that can produce you offspring.

I've got my eye on you Moseby. You referred to your wife as your "life partner"............very suspicious. Sounds like you're trying to cover your tracks.

                  Care to respond to this?

Oh dear, whatever is the matter with her? Has she been following the good book recently? She may be infested with demons.

Listen up, hotshot, try to get the whole story in the future.

Also try and explain any point in your own words and support it with scripture, posting a large picture or unsorted scripture is unhelpful, and deters newbies searching the wilderness of the internet for Christ.

Not at all, I just felt the need to clear up any confusion. Because of the following post:

thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a
beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye
yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the
nations are defiled which I cast out before you: And the
land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof
upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and
shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of
your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
(For all these abominations have the men of the land done,
which were before you, and the land is defiled) That the
land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued
out the nations that were before you. For whosoever shall
commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit
them shall be cut off from among their people. Therefore
shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of
these abominable customs, which were committed before you,
and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD
                      your God." Leviticus 18:22-30, KJV
I actually call her Marsha if that makes any difference.

It does make a difference, of course. Some of our new people are over zealous or they are faking it.

Please, don't worry about it Ted. Some people were just given strange names by their parents. After all, it's not like I ever asked to be named "Lycia".

Still, I'm a little worried about this situation with Marshall not conceiving. I noticed you called them your life partner; did you have a proper Baptist wedding? Maybe God isn't blessing you with children because He doesn't think your marriage is correct in His eyes. I mean, it wasn't performed by a judge or anything, was it?
