    I am brother berithelia

    I have preached at north town Baptist church as the pastor for 15 years and am highly interested in the ways of Jesus. My favorite Bible verse is John 18: " Those who walk among the dead can see the light of day as a souyl and not a body" I was very young when I experienced the love of God.
    1 Samuel 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”

    You "preached" as a "Pastor?" Two problems. Pastors don't preach, and we don't accept preachers here. Pastors only.
    Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children,and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

          Welcome Berithelia. Tell me, what sermon gets the biggest rise from the men of your congregation. I am not interested nor do I care if it causes the women to fluster. Are you able to pull the love of Jesus from every man to a breaking crescendo of exquisite praise?
          Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
          Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
          Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

          Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

                  I too need to know what truly inspires the men, what truly makes them rise for Our Lord, in strong praise!

                    Um, John 18 is the chapter describing Jesus' arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane and the aftermath. Care to try again?
