Hello. I'm a former member of the Church of God The Utterly Indifferent. Even though there was a lot going on there, none of it had anything to do with God because everyone was interested in and busy doing other things. Personally, I was only as interested in God as It was interested in me, and I got so busy with just living that I eventually lost interest in The Church altogether.
I'm not sure how I wound up here or why I registered for yet another activity except that I seem to have a few free minutes on my hands, and you know what they say about idle hands: They give the mind a chance to catch up.
Is it lunchtime yet?
Anyway, I heard about some girl named TamTamPamela who seemed to be pretty happy here, and she was happy for all of her fellows here because of the earthquake. Since earthquakes and tectonic movements and, well, just earth science in general, have always interested me, I figured that I would check this place out to see what I could learn.
Gee, I really am hungry. I'll be back later.
I'll be grateful if someone can tell me then more about the tectonic plate movements that brought so much happiness to folks around here. I mean, that thing had to move /at least/ a few feet in order to register at 8.9! Wow! Boy, would I like to see the seismometer graphs of that event! It's too bad that so many people died, though. There are a lot of very cold, very scared, and very sad people trying to find shelter tonight.

That is because they deny God.
