Hello, and thank you for welcoming me.
My name is My and I was told to introduce myself here, since I was posting a question in the viral Moomin-thread.

There are two facts that are hard to get away from: My name is My and I'm short/little.
Referring to the Moomin-thread, Little My is a bastard character. My question is: am I now doomed? Should I change my name? Give me your opinions, please.

I'm from Stockholm, Sweden and I attended the Maria Magdalena Church on Södermalm.
I first came to serve Master Jesus Christ when I was in school, noticing my teacher had a piece of devil inside of him. It was the Crafts teacher, Roger.
I started going to the church thinking about how I would never want to become Roger.

Hello LittleMy. I'm also new here - so welcome! I've actually been to your city, I thought it was very beautiful especially with all of the water. The only really bad thing about it was the indigenous people and their unquenchable desire for booze and sex. Also there was no Starbucks.

I'm glad you liked Stockholm. Kind of agree that we do want sex AND booze, sometimes at the same time. So, HYPOTHETICALLY - tonight I'm going out drinking and after that I might meet up with someone who is not my boyfriend but someone I might sleep with. Again, hypothetically speaking. But still, there are many people doing this in Stockholm (such as any other big city!)
So - how would you be forgiven for this sort of sin?

Are you from America? How long were you in Stockholm and why did you miss Starbucks? Very curious!

I don't think that you've come to the right place if that is your "hypothetical" attitude about sin. You may not be taking things seriously here, but I think you'll see that others do not find your casual attitude and loose morals to be that funny.

Also, I never said I missed Starbucks - I said there was no Starbucks in Stockholm. That scores a point for the city of Stockholm as Starbucks is a company fraught with problems - not least their logo.

Well, being from Stockholm I know the issue and the extend of it. It is wide, my friend. And being a Stockholm member I can also spread the word on how we'll change. I'm thinking about doing that. But you don't seem too helpful.

It's pronounced more like "Mie". Yeah, last time I checked was on my christening certificate which was signed by a lovely priest called Elisabeth.
Sometimes I use a pseudonym, but not this time - thought it would be better to - as you say - be honest with Jesus.
But this Moomin thing makes things complicated. Would you change your name if you shared it with a demon character in a children's book?

You should be less concerned about your name and its unfortunate association with the demon Moomins and more concerned with your dwarfism:

I am also a bastard, I'm so glad you're here! If you're a dwarf also, that will make things more difficult. Both bastards and dwarfs are accursed by THE LORD.

I'm a little nervous about Södermalm. Even though you tried to disguise the word with two suspicious dots over the "O", I sensed that this place has some type of perversion reeking from it. What are you trying to hide?
