      So you want an easy Jesus, one that says "sinning is cool, just feel guilty about it afterward". Perhaps the Catholic church is more to your liking.

      Nowhere in the Bible does it say that salvation is easy, in fact it tells us that we will be hated and persecuted for our beliefs because we are "not of this world". If that makes us masochists for Jesus, then so be it. What's 80 or so years of torture compared to an eternity in Heaven or Hell?

        Does your name refer to the chink "Noh" (or "Nogaku") form of theater? If so, it has several strikes against it, to wit:

        1. It has chinamen in it. I don't think this really needs an explanation or a Biblical admonition.

        2. The guys dress as women.

        3. None of the current plays praise Jesus in any way whatsoever.

        (Psalms 150:1-6) "Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD."



        I have written several letters to the head of the Jap Cultural Commission to see if they will correct this monumental oversight, but they have not been courteous enough to reply (this is why the phrase "oriental hospitality" never caught on, I reckon).

          Studying multiple religions leads those weak in their faith invariably to damnation. People see similarities between Christianity and false religions, and then assume either that Christianity "stole" basic morality from others, or that basic morality is "universal". Buddhism is nihilism; in order to be "happy", they want you to be completely detached from the beautiful world God has created to test you in for approximately 80 years, to determine whether you are worthy to praise Him in Heaven for trillions of years to come!

          Wait a minute, hold up.

          We are telling you what the Bible says. God's Word. The only way to know who Jesus is. If we are Biblically Correct, how can you say WE are bad, but Jesus is not? How can Jesus be good, if WE, who are Biblically Correct, are bad?

          I thought you atheists were supposed to be logical folks.

          . . . so you don't want truth, you don't want to obey God, you want to do whatever you like and believe you won't be punished for it. Right?

          You want to find a "religion" that suits you, instead of seeking objective Truth and following it. That way, you can change absolutely nothing about yourself, but can fill the God-shaped hole in your heart with some pleasing lies and not have to call yourself "atheist".

          Perhaps you should try secular humanism. That way, you can convince yourself that you are a good person, and even do nice things for others "because it's the right thing to do", and feel good about yourself when God damns you to His Lake of Fire for not believing in Him.

          It might at least keep you from raping and eating babies, like the atheists are prone to do.

            I hope all the bible huggers here, know that the bible was written by man, not a god. Hell, for all you know, it could have been follow the word of some guy that wanted a follow. You can believe differently, but you don't KNOW.
