    Alright, here's the deal.

Hello everyone I am Nohbodie, an 18 year old Canadian college student.

I have spent my entire life as an Atheist, and I cannot understand why religion would be needed in my life. I cannot fathom an omnipotent being knowing our every action, let alone fathom that he had created the universe. Sure the big bang may not be able to explain the universe down to the last detail, but then again the Bible cannot explain evolution? I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just trying to see the world through your eyes...

I can answer that; to keep from burning for eternity.

It doesn't matter what you "believe", the facts are that God exists and hell is very, very real. I will pray for you.

If you want to see the world through our eyes, read the Bible, the King James version. Maybe you'll actually learn something and have the eureka moment and get yourself Saved.

Yes, Sis. The only one who this one is making a deal with is The Devil.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the difference between the King James Bible and the other Bibles? Honestly, you are the second person whose told me to read the King James Bible exclusively. I had met another Baptist back when I was younger, and she too told me that I should only read that Bible and none other...

But me being an atheist, wouldn't it be better for me to read multiple versions of the bible? That way I would get a firm grasp on what I would need to know and what the basic knowledge is? To be completely honest I'm shooting in the dark here: I have zero knowledge of any religion. I have only been to churches for weddings!

I also do not understand the card game reference...

Welcome son. You are not no body. Jesus wants to be your best bud, your go to guy, your BFF.
He wants to be in your study group. Think how kewl it will be to have the inside scoop on creation!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Because the KJV is the accurate version that is a direct translation of God's word. The others are corrupted and inaccurate.

NO...only read the KJV1611 or you'll get a blurred vision of what Christianity really is.

To be completely honest I'm shooting in the dark here: I have zero knowledge of any religion. I have only been to churches for weddings!
Luckily for you God does not have an expiry date on Salvation. Also, why would you want to know about "other" religions? If you study Islam you'll end up running into an open market blowing yourself up. All other textx/books/philosophies outside of the KJV1611 lead you to eternal damnation.

To answer your question, what is the difference between a lump of coal and a diamond? They are both carbon, right? One is as good as the other, right? Well coal, like any other so called scripture is good for burning and nothing more. A diamond is beautiful, indestructible, and a tool for shaping and cutting anything. Well the KJV is like that, beautiful, indestructible, irrefutable, and great for shaping and cutting your soul into something worth saving.

Well John, the reason why I wanted to see what other religions are like is because it will help me with the bigger picture. Honestly, I don't think being a Baptist is for me, I was looking at some of the "Trophies" listed under each users' name and found a handful of them to be somewhat offensive...

I don't know, maybe if it was another time and another place it would have been the thing for me, but the way you guys flaunt your religious fervor is somewhat intimidating to someone like myself. I think I may go have a look at Buddhism, I hear they can achieve a great state of mind by living in the present!

Many thanks you guys! You really opened my eyes, even if it wasn't in a great way ):

You think opeing your eyes about Jesus is not good? Please explain that. The only people that hate Jesus are Athiests and Homers. There are a bunch that claim they love God but when asked, they really don't, they are in it for the stickers.

Well that's why God gave you free will - however (I'm just going to warn you) if you do not live your life according to the KJV1611 it's not going to end well. Like I said, hell is very real and it awaits the unsaved.

Best of luck to you nobody, I will pray you find the path to Salvation

                          Then it's hell for you.
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

                            That's the point, dear friend:

Romans 12:2: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Jesus is Someone Who doesn't like a little leeway in life:

Matt. 7:21-23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Note that it's "doeth the will," not "doeth parts of the will."
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

I don't know, I guess for you guys it's a way of life but for me it would require radical change. Not that I'm against change, but it seems like you guys follow to bible to the letter, which doesn't sit well with me. I'm someone who like a little leeway in life!
I do not follow you, what 'scare tactics'? All we do is follow the Bible. Now, the KJV is by far the most accurate in the world but even the fluffy bunny fake Bibles have a smidge of Truth in them. Sounds to me like you need to have a Bible at the top of your summer reading list.

Perhaps you and I can sit down and discuss Jesus.
