    Nice to see true followers

Hello all and may god bless.

I am very happy to have found this site and to see that there are many more that have been saved and that are strong and brave enough to follow gods own word the way it was meant to be.

I'm someone that was born and raised a devoute Christian but unfortunately I strayed in my younger less responsible years until I found Jesus in my heart again while in Afghanistan and stepped up and answered Gods calling to try to convert the heathens that lived there or to act as his sword and smite those who denied him.

I'm not really sure at the moment what I hope to contribute or gain besides being a part of a community of true followers to gain knowledge from the elders and leaders and to hopefully mentor and guide the newly blessed in gods light.

I look forward to getting to know all of you as time goes on.

    Hello!

    What's your favorite Bible verse?

How many sand-nigras did you smite while you were in Throwrugistan?

What church do you go to?

We want to get to know you!

    Yours in Christ,

    Z. Smyth

Your knowledge of the American language isn't bad, for a Canadian. How do you cope under the oppressive socialist regime up there?

Re: Nice to see true followers

Even though it is hard to pick a favorite in hard times I have always found that Psalm 34:7 to be words of strength.

" The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them"

I've sent 3 of the wicked into the eternity of fire and pain but I am more proud of the 2 that I was able to bring into the light of the lord and the path of redemption. There was also one that that I befriended and whose faith all of us would admire; he admitted to me after a few months when we alone one day that he was a loyal and dedicated follower of God and his begotten son Jesus even though it would cost him his life at the hands of the pagans there. I am very proud that I was able to use the limited internet I had and found him a Bible in his own language.

I grew up on the border of Maine in new brunswick as a weslyan and spent most of my time there with family where I developed a jealousy for you guys and how besides our free healthcare wanted nothing more than have been born American and proud.

I am happy to see the regardless of my past mistakes and straying from the path that I have been given the chance to have Jesus back into my heart and save my soul.

          Just a tip, we're AKJV1611 people here.

The angel of the Lord encampeth Round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Doesn't make much difference with this particular quote, but some get quite messy.

How did you come to be in Afghanistan? Were you there to join the mujahideen? Did Jesus come to you and save you from blowing yourself up for the Muslims' moon-demon Allah?
