I don't hate God. In fact, I don't hate anyone. I don't see why anyone would spend their lifes hating when there is so much to love about the world.

The hearsay evidence you give here is incorrect, Our Lord, The Flying Spaghetti Monster does not do such things.

They can be very pedantic here, I think it is a symptom of the brainwashing they have all undergone.

You do know the real meaning of "pedantic" right? You are trying to use it as a pejorative, but the true meaning is about teaching. We are trying to TEACH people the way to get to Heaven!!!

Let us have a look at the Oxford English Dictionary

pedantic /pI"dantIk/ adj. of or like a pedant.

pedant /"pEd(@)nt/ n. a person who is excessively concerned with minor detail.

It is derived from the Italian "pedante" meaning teacher. Notice the important word in that statement "derived" it does NOT mean the same as "pedante".

So I think to use it as pejorative (having a disparaging, derogatory, or belittling effect or force) is valid in this instance.

Every single person in the entire world is unique in their own way. Everyone can have their own beliefs.
I'd like to use this thread to say that not all the Christian generalisations about athiests are true.
We're all human...blah blah...we are unique in our own way...blah de blah...everyone can have their own beliefs.

Indeed you can, dear, our Lord grants you free will, though He weeps in sorrow at your betrayal.

You do undertand, don't you, this world is only a shabby stage, like a cardboard grade-school production? Its ONLY purpose is to be a testing ground of your decision to accept or reject God. You're on the team or you hate him. Luke 16:13: No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

So either submit yourself to Him, or go back to banging bongos in your drum circle and reciting lesbian incantations. You really need a husband to wipe that Mary Kay smirk off your arrogant face.

Yes, a whole two sentences, which frankly, is more than yet another God-mocker here to persecute us for not joining her in denying God is worth.

Somehow, if a Christian claimed to be a "Christain", I imagine you'd be one of the first to mock her for not knowing how to spell the name of her own religion. You know, as you do not know how to spell your own cult name.

You are looking more at a present-day connotation and not the original denotation. To put it simply enough for even you to comprehend: the meaning has been bastardized by liberals and sarcastic fops (such as yourself).

Plus, I think that being concerned with the minutiae of the Bible as it pertains to my Eternal Life in Heaven could hardly be classified as "excessive."

Atheism is the lack of religious beliefs, cults usually have some sort of religious beliefs.

                      WRONG.

It always amazes me how many "atheists" get this wrong (and how many misspell "atheist" and "atheism").

Atheists do not believe there is a God. It comes from the Greek word atheos which means "without god."

Doesn't really matter in the long run: atheists and agnostics and pagans and heathens and people just too lazy to figure out WHAT they are will end up in the Lake of Fire for Eternity.
