  • Good evening fellows

Hello, I'm George from across the sea in the UK. I do believe in God but threw out organised religion long ago after taking a different path to my Catholic parents. I am here mainly to have discussion with a group of people who are seemingly intelligent (judging by some posts read) I do have a tendency to get myself into difficult areas with a strong opinion on things, I also seem to cause offence easily but this is never meant.

So hey, how are you all doing?

Hello, George. Welcome to our internet forums.
I'm very glad that you've turned your back on the cathylicks, for they preach a different gospel.. One that is not of God, but of satan.

Tell us a litte about yourself:
What is your favourite Bible verse? (KJV only)
    What sins have you commited?
How old are you, where do you live?

    And most importantly:
Do you want to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and become Saved by the blood of His reedeming, perfect, sacrifice?
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.
    Proverbs 9:12-13

I'm doing great George and welcome to Landover; Christ's favorite church. It's too bad your Catholic upbringing turned you off organized religion, but it's not surprising. Talking to statues and drinking Jesus's blood would seem a little weird to anybody.

So why are you here George? Would you like to meet my best friend Jesus Christ of Nazareth?

I don't tend to read the bible that often, I have a nice little bible that I was given several years ago by a CoE group at the front it has a contents where you can look and it says where certain aspects of life are covered i.e. you would look up say "depression" in the front and it would give you several verses to look at. I find this very helpful and often turn to it in a time of need.

I try to lead a unsinful life but have probably commited several, using the ten commandements I would say the ones i'm guilty off would be keeping the Sabbath day holy and using God's name wrongfully. Maybe not honouring my parents aswell.

I'm from a small village in eastern England, near the city of Norwich.

I do believe Jesus was/is the saviour.

And to answer the other question by the poster below the one I qouted. I am here as I like to broaden my horizons and learn about as many things as possible, and the baptist curch is something I know little about.

It is also worth noting that there are several on-line Bibles that can help you this (and are bit easier if you ask me)

Well friend you've come to the right place because Landover is the one TRUE Baptist church in the world. (and Jesus personal favorite).

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

              Re: Good evening fellows

I'd like to welcome you too, George. Landover Baptist has helped countless unsaved folks find Salvation through the Grace of Jesus. I hope you'll let us give it a try with you.

By the way, about that "honoring your parents" thing, you may not know it but Jesus later added His thoughts on the subject.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
              Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
