Hi, I'm Doyle and I do not think I am saved yet

I know that is not a good thing in the eyes of the church, but if I can save the Wales (I have never killed a Welshman), then saving myself should not be too difficult, and it will give me something to do in my free time.

I must admit to being a Democrat, and while realizing my sins from the last election, I am not yet ready to leap the aisle. Perhaps I can keep watch on the Democratic movement - by doing a Google search once in a while and see if any new evil plans have been announced in easy to locate web pages or pdf files.

I am not sure about my favorite quote from the KJV Bible - not having spent enough time bored in hotel rooms to read all the words in the copy kindly placed by the Gideon's, and I would feel guilt if I took a copy and it caused my baggage to be overweight for my flight home. This would require me to abandon the word of God in DFW or worse, and this would be simply be too much guilt even for my unsaved soul.

For the moment I will have to go with Matthew 26:26, where Jesus tells the guys to eat me.

While I do not attend any individual church, I drive by many of them and make a good faith effort to read the messages on the signs, this allows me to obtain a greater selection of divinely inspired messages than regularly attending just one church. It has the added advantage of keeping me informed of pancake and fish fry social events in my community.

There is only one TRUE Word of God. Read my sermon on the topic HERE.

The Word of God can be had for free if you just visit your local Independant Baptist Church and ask the Pastor for one. Make sure you ask specifically for a KJV1611 Authorized Version Bible.

Also you can read one online at www.biblegateway.com. And for your assisted reading pleasure, Brother V has got a wonderful thread going HERE called "Bible in a Year."

If you'd like to find out more about Landover Baptist Church, please read THIS thread created especially for new posters.

If you have a question, use the "search" function before posting it. Most likely it is being discussed somewhere on this Godly forum. Please don't waste God's precious bandwidth.

You will keep a respectful tongue in your head whenever addressing your betters, which includes all True Christians™. Failure to do so, or any attempt at inciting debate or mockery of God's Divine Plan, can and will result in the suspension of your posting privileges.

Your rights on this forum are listed HERE. If you feel that any of these rights have been violated, please don't hesitate to contact a Pastor at once.
