Re: I intened to leave this world the same way I came into it!
No sir. I am a neo-Druid. We follow the beliefs of the ancient Celts as nearly as we can, given the fact that there are very few insular Celtic sources of information- it was all oral tradition. The Druids believed that they're power was too great to accidentally fall into immoral hands, so they didn't write down the traditions. The Romans did that. But they did it with an eye of prejudice, so we have to use archeological evidence along with the writings of the Romans to piece the belief system back together. For example, the Romans wrote of horrible, gruesome human sacrifice among the Druids, which we know to be propaganda, and not reality. The Romans misinterpreted the Druids to be a priestly caste, when the reality was that they were merely the educated class- doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc. I myself am a wedding minister. That's why we use the distinction "neo" meaning "new" or modern, as opposed to calling ourselves Druids. The original Druidic rights and specific traditions have been lost to history.
