Hello - New here, hoping to learn and grow

Hi all

I am new to this forum, though have been hanging around reading threads without contributing for a while now (between 5 and 9 months). I finally decided to take the plunge after seeing the decay of my society and sinners proliferating on every street corner (literally).

I am on a mission to help these people and want help from fellow True Christians - ideas, tips, anything.

I am more of a reader than a contributer though I will always respond in furious anger and vitriol if I ever see gay or homosex posts. That stuff really, really infuriates me.

Please note True Christian™ is a trademark and you can not just claim to be one. You have to earn it and a good way to start is to tell us what church you go to, what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

I attend a little baptist church - literally 110 yards from my back door - that we call 'The Church of the Tiny Whale Bone' (for reasons that I am unsure of) but it is actually called West Vale Baptist Church. I also occassionally attend the Serbian Orthodox Baptist Church of St John the Baptist - as my own church occassionally closes during inclement weather conditions.

I am - as I mentioned in another thread here - a recent convert. I heard the call (or voice) of Jesus after an incident involving a dear friend of mine (ex-dear friend, we are no longer speaking due to the details about to follow).

I was friends with the person in question for around 20 months. We used to hang about together - play pool (which I now cringe at, looking back), gardening and I would occassionally help him wash his car.

One evening - it must have been a summer night because he had taken his top off due to it being 'so very hot' - I was applying suntan lotion to his back and shoulders when I noticed he had become visibily and sexually stimulated. To say I exploded with rage and anger would be an understatement - I unleashed a flurry of punches to my 'friends' face and torso, making sure not to make contact with his aroused areas.

It was while serving 7 years for GBH that I found the Lord Jesus Christ.

It may sound cliched - Oh look, another ex-con turns to Jesus Christ and The Lord God - but it is how it happened.

Now I am aching to set earn my place alongside our Jesus Lord by damning sinners to eternal Hellfire and steering converts on to the correct path.

But as an ex-queer, I can testify that anger and vitriol are not effective motivators in convincing the fag to renounce his filthy choice to be a gay.

In my twenty years of being sissy, I cannot count the number of verbal insults, rebukes and physical assaults when I was caught in public toilets coupled to yet another strange man. It was simply the price one paid to be a homosexual, and in no way a deterrent to the cruising for the next tryst of the day.

Only when I was shown how badly I was breaking Jesus' heart every time I dropped my trousers did I finally realize that I would pay an exhorbitant price for my poor decision in choosing a life of sodomy. That Hell was very real and I deserved it.

Or I could get on my knees and receive the love and salvation of Jesus Christ, and the personal strength to abandon the profligate perversions that had consumed my very soul. Faith cured me, not anger.

Jesus Christ saves. This is the message we need to send to the queers that visit.

I presume to concur brother, even though I do not have the credibility of an ex-queer. Fags are actually turned on by anger. Sometimes, "under your skin" is as close as they can get to "inside your tailpipe". It is best to channel your Godly rage into a productive activity, like voting Republican.

You attend a "fair weather" church. That doesn't sound too promising for a potential True Christian™.

While I have been blessed in never feeling the urge to engage in "pole smoking," it sounds like you have been exposed to the temptation.

For example, to properly judge the level of "stimulation" it would helpful to know the extent. Did you have a tape measure to record any of the details?

Did you take videos or pictures? It would help us greatly if you would post them here so we can more accurately judge how genuine your rejection of that death-style was at the time.

I'm curious about this too. 7 years is quite a long time. I'm sure prison provided its fair share of "natural consequences" if you know what I mean . Hopefully he can repent for all his drug dealing sins before God adds his punishment as well.

Living in a corrupt city full of druggies I've learned that people seldom deal in just one drug- I'm sure there are others he sold/manufactured that he "forgot" to mention.
