Hello, I am currently looking to learn more about Christianity. I have spent some time on this site and seeing as many of the members have impressive knowledge of The Bible and Christianity in general, I think this would be a good place for me to learn more. I have been reading The Bible for a week now (KJV) but as a newcomer I feel it would be best if I were guided by experts such as yourself.

Also, please don't misunderstand, I am not a troll and I am not here to flame you. I am genuinely interested in Christianity and being saved, and I would appreciate keeping the name-calling and insults to a minimum.

I just started Deuteronomy. I'm enjoying reading it more than I thought I would.

You're not a quitter or a slacker, are you? God does not slack in His efforts to bring you to Him:

2 Peter 3:9

9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Seems to me the least you could do in return is remain here long enough for God's love to find purchase within you.

I did enjoy Numbers, but my favorite Book so far is Leviticus.
