    Belgian Christian

    My name is Jules Verdonck,
I'm a 17 year old Christian and live in Belguim.
I speak Dutch, French, English and a little bit Italian.
I'm a proud member of the Belgian Christians and a believer in the Word of God.
I go to church twice a week and prays every day after school and at 12 o'clock in the weekends.
    My favorite passages are:

    Mat 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

    Psa 86:13
For great [is] thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

    Pro 23:14
Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

I've been homeschooled untill my 13 and went to a Christian school in the same year. I always trust in God to guide me and warn me if He thinks I'm deviate from the Right path.
A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back. Proverbs 26:3

Well hello! It's always nice to see a young man on the right track.
It's a shame you are a man without a country right now.

Ah, to be 17 again. Bull riding and preparing for seminary. Will you be going into the ministry?

Actually it is still one country, we're not at war.
The Flammish and Wallisn (I really hope that was right) are just in discussion.

I don't see the word "Baptist" anywhere in that group's name.

Tell us, boy, have you been baptized?

Do come clean and admit you are are French. Or is that an oxymoron

Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

                  Re: Belgian Christian

Are there really Christians in "Belgium"? This sounds like some kind of a trick to me.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Belgian waffles are different from regular waffles, so it would make sense that Belgian Christians would be different from regular Christians. Are you sure you're not a queer?

"Belgian waffles," fabled for being different from regular waffles, were actually created in New York in 1964 during the World's Fair. They were sold inside the “Belgium Village”; this was the first time in history that a Belgian village had ever been physically constructed.

In essence, Belgium is nothing but a marketing ploy aimed to spur up sales of overly greasy waffles.

WOW! Belgian waffles are a lie?

I wonder what other lies are being perpetrated in the name of food?

What about French toast? Italian dressing? Colombian coffee? Swiss cheese? English muffins? German chocolate? Are they all lies too? What are honest, God-fearing Americans supposed to do?

German chocolate cake got its name from a man by the name of German. His double chocolate cake recipe was featured on the Betty Crocker home tv show in the 1940s or 1950s.
