    A gentle and humble introduction

    Hello, I am so glad I found you all and I pray you will receive my humble posts with the sincerity and humility with which I intend. I am a stay at home mother and I homeschool. I recently was delivered from the bowels of the catholic church and rejoice in my salvation every day. I also homechurch my children. Sadly, I fear my husband is an atheist but I have hope and will never give up hope for the LORD says,

    Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands;
    that, if any obey not the word,
    they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
    while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
    (1 Peter 3: 1,2)

    I know I am saved, washed in the blood of the lamb, hallelujah, and so I know my husband will be won for Christ as well.

    My second favorite story in the holy Bible is the story of Balaam (the first being the Resurrection, of course). I just love that the LORD can talk to us when we need it most, and when He speaks through His ass.... I just get goosepimples thinking about it. Our God works in mysterious ways and I am thrilled to be counted among the one of the Saved (1 Timothy 2:15).
    Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

    A godly introduction, Mary, I am not wholly displeased to meet you. I assume your husband (such as he is) has given you permission to post here? As he is an atheist I will not ask you how many sons you have borne him, rather I shall ask how many soldiers for Christ you have borne. And which of your pies is most tasty?
    Exodus 22:20 He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

      I am most humbled and gratified that you could tolerate my introduction, lowly as it was. Although my husband seems on the surface to be annoyed when I ask permission for such things ("why can't you just think for yourself" is a comment I hear a lot, alas, my suffering is great), I still desire only to honor and respect him and so of course I sought (and received) his permission to post here. He has not yet granted me permission to cover my hair, as I feel God may be prompting me to do such a thing to show outwardly my inner desire to be submissive at all times, not just during prayer or when I sing praise music as I vacuum and dust the house. Anyway, I have many beautiful children and they would say their favorite pie I prepare is apple, of course. They are as American as apple pie themselves, with the freckles and Caucasian features to show for it.

          Hello Mary! Consider my warm welcome extended in your direction.

          I see you are a former idolater; however, you have since come to your senses...after no doubt many ups and downs.

          You have come here, seeking the Truth. I also see that you have read 1 Timothy 2:15. "Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety."

          Surely, you are familiar with 1 Timothy 2:12 "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."

          I would like to inquire as to how you incorporate this wisdom into your lowly life.

          Peace be with you...
          Jeremiah 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

          Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

            Thank you for the kindly welcome! I do so appreciate it. I am happy to answer your questions because it warms my spirit greatly to glorify the LORD. Yes I am familiar with these passages, only recently learning that I can read the Bible myself and it is God's Love Letter to ME (I'm sorry, I still get worked up over thinking of my freedom from the Romanist cult I once called my church)! One way in which I glorify Him is through my submission to my dear husband and in training up my boys to be strong men of God and my daughter to be a Godly wife and mother one day. The LORD tells us to submit to our husbands in everything, and so with gratitude and affection towards my Savior, it is my privilege to submit to my husband in all things. (Ephesians 5:24)

              You appear a Godly woman, and it is rare for me to take an instant like to another, in fact I cannot recall it ever happening before. But I am distressed that you are disobeying the Lord by allowing yourself and your sons to be subjected to your Atheist husband. The Lord is quite clear on this:

              2 Corinthians 6:14
              Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

              You owe it to your children, and to Jesus, to do the right thing.

                Perhaps, it is also noteworthy to point out 2 Chronicles 15:12-13 "And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul; 13 That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman."

                  It truly warms my spirit to see a Godly forum with members who apply scripture, God's own Word, to share truth. I have, I shamefully admit, thought of leaving my husband for fear my children might walk in his atheistic ways, but the LORD led me to 1 Corinthians 7:13 and I just know in the deepest depths of my soul that I must remain faithful to this man I had exchanged vows with before I was Saved. The LORD works in mighty ways and I KNOW that my dear dear misguided husband will be saved through my loving, submissive character, in imitation of Sarah who obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord. (1 Peter 3:1-6). My children shall be safe if they truly love and have faith in Jesus.

                      Alas, my husband is quite liberal with the children. He even lets our daughter disagree with him and tells me that one day she'll need to learn how to make up her own mind and defend her own beliefs (I'm weeping as I write this). Please, please pray for my poor wayward, deluded husband! He tries so hard to be a good man but we know it is impossible to be good without God. I thank God every day for my salvation and pray for my husband's.

                        Welcome to our humble and loving forum Mary. We do our best to understand and show compassion even to the sinners. The suffering you describe that you have to put up with in your daily life brings me to tears.

                        Your husband is very cruel. If I ever meet him I am going to kick his ass up his body until it becomes his face.

                        How can he expect you to "think for yourself?" Everybody knows that a woman cannot think for herself. It is her husband's duty to think for her and provide Godly instruction in all matters of her life.

                        I have just said a prayer to our Sweet Baby Jesus that your husband breaks out in painful and puss filled sores until he repents. Never forget that Jesus has given Landover males the insight to get rid of Christ hating atheists and make it look like an accident. God Bless.

Please, please pray for my poor wayward, deluded husband! He tries so hard to be a good man but we know it is impossible to be good without God. I thank God every day for my salvation and pray for my husband's.

                              Oh pastor! I'm just in such a quandary! I apologize for my emotional outburst but I just don't know what to do! I don't believe he is queer, no. He behaves in a very manly way in general, doesn't like to shop, doesn't want to play soccer, doesn't eat quiche, things like that. But he simply won't take the lead in a Godly disciplinarian way. I've considered punishing myself but it reminds me too much of the kind of mortification of my Roman cultish days and so I've been afraid. I would appreciate if you could pray for me, I know the LORD listens to the prayers of the righteous. Also, if you or any other Godly people here have some scripture for me to pray with, I would be much obliged. Until then, I will walk by faith and not by sight and wait until the day the LORD calls my dear deluded husband by name because even though it looks hopeless, I know with God ALL things are possible! (Matthew 19:26) Praise the LORD \o/
