I can categorically state, Jack, that there's nothing quite propels a man to True Christianity faster than spotting the falsehood of Catholic tradition for the first time and actually reading a true Bible with an open mind.

Goodness, as a dutifully duped paganist, I was told again and again not to read my Bible at all! What was mumbled on Sunday was supposed to be enough.

Oh it makes me weep to think of that now.
