The bible NEVER tells us when the earth was truly created, aside from a genealogy that is questionable as it brings up the question of 'did they have children through incest?' A person 300 years ago just up and decided that 4004 BC was when the earth was created. That is NOT in the bible, but you all seem to take it so literally that it could make you commit suicide.

It's like the idea that the earth is flat, I can't accept it as it is impossible for me to grasp. It's suggesting that the earth has no core, no electromagnetic field. What if you drilled a hole through the bottom and you fell through, you would be in space would you not? Why does the horizon disappear when you are on a mountain? Would you not be able to see all the kingdoms of earth? And can someone find a flat earth bible reference, I've been looking and the only one I found was in Matthew 4:8, and that wasn't even suggesting it was flat, more that the area they were in was rather small.

Look harder. The earth is flat. See 1 Samuel 2:8: "He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them."

I would caution you, though, that you should not gravitate toward me simply because you like my answers or I don't make you uncomfortable. Redeemed Papist is a True Christian™ you see, while I am merely an Honorary True Christian™.

What this means is that Redeemed Papist has, through the grace of God and through much faith and diligence on his part, achieved a level of wisdom and Biblical understanding far greater than I possess.

Do not shrink away when a True Christian™ makes statements that you find challenging, or that take you way outside your comfort zone!

After all, pressure makes diamonds, and you've got to break a few eggs if you want to make an omelete!

Depends on one's own interpretation of the messages in the bible. I believe that everything in the new testament is true. Some of the ideas in the old testament confuse me due to how different it is to most historical evidence. I do believe in the Exodus and God saved His people from the oppression of the Egyptians. I have had prayer ministry to try and break the chains from the Freemason damage that has been done to my bloodline. Should I keep doing it? (Directed at Faith_Machine because I like your responses.)

And I haven't checked, but we might have fewer people calling themselves tired and claiming it is a medical condition.

Now while I can't take issue with your statement about beliefs and sickular scientists, I do want to point our that True Christian(tm) scientists (and we have quite a few here at Landover Baptist Church) deal only with facts as found in the 1611 King James Bible and not beliefs. Our science is unassailable because it comes from God Himself.
