I was also having trouble with it. It seems to me also to be similar (perhaps equivalent?) to saying "I'm a child of Satan and a child of Christ."

Anyway, I am distressed by this forum because it teaches hate. Hate towards other groups, even towards those without a choice as to who they are eg. women (there is nothing wrong with a woman, they are equals), homosexuals, etc....

We're all about the Bible as the instructions given to us by God. How can you reject the Bible and call yourself a Christian? What is Christianity to you? A feeling you have about how thing should be? You want to remake God in your own image? As you wish Him to be?

Sorry friend, it doesn't work that way. If you truly are a Christian, you follow the Bible, and that's all there is to it. And the Bible is very clear about homosexuals.

I John 3:10 states "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother."
Catholics are a group which "doeth not righteousness," to use the Lord's own Holy words. You can see this excellent thread for an explanation of why your kind are not True Christians.
Those who are not True Christians do not do righteousness. Those who do not do righteousness, according to Jesus Christ, are manifestations of the children of the devil.
