No offense taken. We find the Southern Baptist Convention to be unacceptably liberal in more than worship. They tend to rewrite God's Word to match their preconceptions of what God meant to say, whereas we understand that God said what He meant and meant what He said.

Excuse me, but my father will have a VERY bloody sheet to show the Elders on my wedding night (Deuterononomy 22:15). Virgins are not whores.

Absolutely not. I wear a cross, not a crucifix. How can you celebrate the Resurrection without fully understanding the sacrifice? Get a hammer and some nails and grow in faith.

I don't interpret Scripture at all. The infallible Word of God does not require it, thank you very much.

Hi Christy! Tell us how God touched you?
How many sons have you placed in the manger alongside baby Jesus?

    My hobbies include taking communion,
Oh, so you're a Catholic, then. Learned the sodomitious ways of the priests?

listening to Christian podcasts and picketing abortion clinics. Every October I volunteer at a Hell House and on Easter I nail myself to a cross.

Do you interpret Scripture the same way you interpret the header of EVERY PAGE ON THIS FORUM?

Where it says in big letters, "UNSAVED UNWELCOME"?

No wonder you are a self-harming emo Catholic.

Because there is no beam in our eye. We are washed clean of sin. we took Jesus' warning about being hypocrites well and truly to heart in the same way as we know we will be judged in the same way that we judge. We're fine with that, too because we judge righteously. If you know your Bible you'll know what I refer to. I wonder if you can find the right verses in context and read them properly...

This forum is open to all, and I assume that means luke-warm Christians as well. I think that we can agree that they are definitely headed the wrong direction.

I understand that this is a Baptist forum, but I follow the Word. No offense, but some Baptists have turned worship into a hootenanny. Ephesians 5:19 says that we are to sing and make melody in our hearts; it does not say that a tattooed Praise Team leader should play electric guitar. And excuse me if I think that it's not too much to ask to remember my crucified SAVIOR every week with Communion. These are the doctrinal differences you take issue with.

You are not our sister. You already admit to attending a false church.

You also barged into our forums and told us you think we're going to Hell, when as True Christians, it is really our job to tell you that you are going to Hell.
