  • Greetings

    Hello everyone,

My name is Darren, and I attended vacation bible school, Sunday school, and a Baptist Church in Texas up until my teens. One day I accepted Jesus as my savior and was even baptized. I read the bible from front to back and but it only made me question my faith. You know, like, when God said, "Let there be light!" who was he talking to? And how do you fit a brontosaurus on a boat? Eventually, I realized I never really had any faith at all and it turns out I'm an Atheist.

Despite my lack of beliefs, I continued to pray for answers, faith, and signs but they went unanswered. I eventually stopped because it felt strange to pray to someone I didn't really believe in. I stopped going to church because it was awkward. They kept asking me if I was saved and I'd tell them I was agnostic and they didn't understand what that meant.

Oh, and I suppose my favorite bible verse would be John 11:35 "Jesus Wept" because thats the only one I can remember by heart because its really short, besides John 3:16, but I bet everybody uses that one.

I haven't really done anything for Jesus lately, except maybe fulfilling a promise of long ago to let some religious influences back into my life, which is why I have visited.

    Hello Darren!

Tell you what, you tell me the name of the church and the pastor where you decided to spit in Jesus' face because they didn't understand the concept of agnosticism, and I will call him and straighten this whole mess out right away.

Glory, glory, GLORY, I have never see a simpler example of delayed redemption in my LIFE!

    Yours in Christ,

Darren, you should be ashamed of yourself. Jesus called you here for a reason, and I'm sure it wasn't just so you could spit in His loving face.

        Re: Greetings

        Darren,
Your words make me want to embrace you in loving arms for a long tender moment that lasts until Jesus slowly but firmly enters into you and then, as you writhe and resist, you finally just accept that there is nothing you can do to prevent Christ's penetration into your inner child and understand that he is coming inside whether you like it or not because his love is overwhelming and it is impossible to truly resist his Grace when it caresses your naked, vulnerable soul. Oh, Darren! PLEASE COME TO JESUS! PLEASE COME! OH DEAR JESUS YES HOSEA CASTING OUT DEMONS IN HIS GLORIOUS NAME OH GOD!

Hallelujah! Oh, dear sweet God.. Hallelujah...

I'm not pleased with you Darren. You've really made a big mess of things. You'll have to make this up to Jesus if you want to get into Heaven.

          Re: Greetings

It's sad when people come here only to insult Jesus.

Like He doesn't already know what's in their tiny, blackened, shriveled atheist hearts?
          Bible boring? Nonsense!
