What did Jesus mean by "We all fall short of the Glory of God"? What does that mean.

What are you trying to say? Are you twisting Scripture to insinuate that the Book which serves as the basis of our cherished beliefs is internally contradictory? Do you want to be a True Christian(tm) or not? How dare you.

The quote you cited above is from Paul, not Jesus (Romans 3:23). Prior to receiving Jesus Christ as our personal LORD and Savior, we are all deserving of eternal hellfire (Psalm 51:5, Psalm 58:3, Revelation 21:8). It is through the BLOOD OF JESUS that our sins are washed away and that we may inherit the Kingdom (Acts 20:28, I Corinthians 6:19-20).

Three chapters later, Paul assures us that once we are Saved(tm), our past lives have been crucified with Christ and we are free from sin.

Romans 6:6-7
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.


Paul goes on to assure us that once we are Saved(tm), our thoughts, words and deeds are justified by none other than the Creator of the world. So you see, as blood-bought children of the LORD, we cannot sin. Glory!

Romans 8:30-33
Moreover, whom He predestined, those He also called; and whom He called, those He also justified; and whom He justified, those He also glorified.
What then shall we say of these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay anything to the charge against God's elect? It is God who justifieth.


Being a True Christian(tm) isn't a simple matter of raising your hand or checking the right box on a demographic survey. Having confessed our sins, bathing in the BLOOD OF JESUS to wash them away, we go forth into the world as beacons of righteousness and perfection, serving as an example for all men to follow (Matthew 5:14-15).

If you cannot feel the righteousness and perfection that comes with being one of Jesus' elect brimming over within you, it simply means you have some more work ahead of you before your Salvation(tm) is guaranteed. My family and I will pray for you.

I didn't abandon my parents? Where are you getting that from? I spent 2 1/2 years in a Christian boarding school where we read the word of God every Sunday morning & night as well as during the week. I do not resist. I have repented my friend in Christ. Please calm down.

• You may of read some of the Bible, but your mind was filled with filth and not God. Had you actually read the Bible., you would not be asking us to explain it. God had the Bible written so even the simplest of minds could understand it. Is that so hard to understand?
