    Proud to be Christian & White!

    Hello, brothers and sisters! My husband granted me time out of the kitchen to make a post here to introduce myself. I'm hoping to know our Lord and Savior better by being here and maybe save some of the heathen trash littering His beautiful Earth but only the important part, the USA! Hallelujah!

    Welcome, Miss Blister. Do you mind telling us about the church you attend and what brought you to Christ? What's your favorite Bible verse?

      I was raised Baptist, thank the good Lord! I attend the First Baptist church here in my little town and I've always known Jesus is the Light and the Way. My favorite scripture is Deuteronomy 25:11-12:

      "When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her."

      It helps me to remember that my place is in the home tending my children and kitchen not in the man's world messing about in their business. Praise Jesus for my purpose!
      Job 13:5 "O that ye would altogether hold your peace! And it should be your wisdom."

          Welcome young lady. How many grains do you use for your reloads?
          Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
          Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
          Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
          Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
          Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
          Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

            Yes, sir. My husband has allowed me the use of the computer to read through the threads for a few minutes while I look for recipes for next week and praise the Lord he has! My time is limited though as I have womanly duties to which I must attend. Thanks be to Jesus for the wonderful family he has bestowed upon me and hopefully new friends in Christ!

              Well, you are just a woman. I suppose your Mr. just sets the scale and lets you get your work done.

              Seems to me your husband is a good man. Please, have him come on and say hello, perhaps join the men in a prayer circle.

                      Amen, Sister Mary! Thank you for the amiable welcome.

                      Pastor Ezekiel, my husband and I perused those threads before he signed me up for the forums. Thank you ever so much for providing guidance for us new people. This reminds me of Proverbs 27:9, "Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of a friend's counsel that comes from the heart."
