My husband and I were just discussing how, after having our second child, I've put on a little weight. He brought up the point of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 "What know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you which ye have of God and ye are not your." and 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you If any man defile the temple of God him shall God destroy; for." We came to the conclusion that since those scriptures tell us that God dwells within us and that we must Glorify him with our bodies. Does this mean that my being 20 pounds heavier is a slap in the face to God? We discussed exercise regiments but many of them are seemingly Satanic with their scantily clad women moving about in an erotic fashion and the men prancing about like flaming fairies. I don't know what to do. Hopefully, one of my brothers and sisters in Christ can put me on the right path. I don' want to go to Hell for being fat.

well i was reading in my bible and i seen in there that god hates people who eat too much Proverbs 23:20-21 says if you eat too much you will be so poor in the end and then i seen in Proverbs 28:7 that if ur girlfriend is too fat ur father will be ashamed of u and also in Proverbs 23:2 says if u eat 2 much u shood just STICK A KNIFE right in ur own neck, so i think that is probly all u need to no, PLUS did u no and this is a TRUE STORY that this one time god totaly ppunished judas for ratting out the lord that he made his SO FAT that when he fell down his guts blew everwhere! this is titally true its in acts!!! chapter 1.

Thank you for posting that, Sister. I've just moved to the English seaside and have been looking for a suitable exercise regime for the beach. This looks perfect. Tell me, have your hair and teeth remained normal? I don't want to end up being mistaken for one of these!

An old thread but worth answering for others. A good workout if your not into anything like insanity, p90x, yoga or any of that would be interval running. This means you would start off running 1/4 of a mile and walk 1/4 of a mile and repeat until you have finished a mile. The pace doesn't really matter as long as your pushing yourself. After awhile up your running as needed for better results. After each 1/4 mile do 20 jumping jacks and 10 pushups(or as many pushups as you can).


The idea behind interval running is to ease yourself into your workout while still getting good results. Eventually if you keep at it 5 mile runs wont be much of a workout anymore.

My wife is fit enough to make inspiring fitness selfies on Instagram*, she stays fit by disciplining our kids and preemptively praying the fat away. Hunting down and whamming the kids with a rolling pin burns more calories and builds more strength than any exercise accepted by the autist/atheist community.

*of course, nobody in my house use Instagram. It is blacklisted among more than one thousand other sites in the firewalll.
