May I ask a few questions?

Hi everyone, my name is Jake and I'm from Canada. I'm doing a term paper on religions across North America. I came across this website and noticed my views differ greatly from yours, and while I really, really do not wish to start an argument or offend anyone, I will hope that these questions can be answered with honesty and openness.

    01) I have read on the message board, some writers claiming that God "hates" (insert term here). Do you, or anyone you know, believe that God actually "hates"? If so, why, and do you not believe God is ever forgiving of things that feel out of our control?

    02) What are your views on homosexuality and homosexual marriage. Other than Biblical influence and impressions, do you think these people, religious or not, good willing or not, are really "bad"?

    03) Do you believe in a sympathetic God or a vengeful God? What is your view of God and his attitude towards us?

    04) Every religion believes theirs is, or could be, the right one. If you could defend your religion and beliefs in one, well constructed sentence, please do.

    05) Optional question and scenario: A woman in Ethiopia grows up with no possibility of religious influence or education. She just happens to be a lesbian but has the best intentions of people around her. She lives her life, having done good things for her community. She dies without ever knowing about The Bible. What do you believe happens to her?

Again, I thank you for your participation. Hope you all have a great week.
Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Ethiopia is a Christian-majority nation (62.8% of the population is Christian), with a large Muslim minority (33.9%). As well, homosexuality is against the law in the country. Your scenario seems highly unlikely.

My apologies. Then let us imagine a place in the world, and there are plenty I'm ball-parking. I would really like a serious answer.

Queerosexuals have violated God's law, and are thus sinners and are on the fast-track to Hell. Thank you for asking

I think the better question is why you or your parents seem to think it is OK for you to continue living your life as a retarded. It's bad enough Obama is enforcing socialist programs on us, but you come here to God's favorite forum, disobeying the rules outright and mock us to our faces? As if we haven't supported you or your lifestyle long enough?

I pray for your parents as they were obviously too lazy to raise you, and I pray you choose Christ over the down syndrome lifestyle choice.

What school? Who is the teacher, and specifically what is the assignment?

                    01) I have read on the message board, some writers claiming that God "hates" (insert term here). Do you, or anyone you know, believe that God actually "hates"? If so, why, and do you not believe God is ever forgiving of things that feel out of our control?
Read the Bible. This is how we know God hates; because the Bible specifically says that God hates, and whom He hates.

Why should God forgive you for choosing to break His laws? Your actions are always under your own control; you choose engage in sodomy, son.

                    02) What are your views on homosexuality and homosexual marriage. Other than Biblical influence and impressions, do you think these people, religious or not, good willing or not, are really "bad"?
You mistake your modern, secular humanist relativist "values" for God's morality.

The only objective morality is God's. It is objective because God decides Himself what is good and what is evil.

Therefore, no matter how "nice" someone is, if he or she is not a True Christian™ -- that is, someone who follows all of God's Law -- then that person will spend eternity in God's Lake of Fire.

                    03) Do you believe in a sympathetic God or a vengeful God? What is your view of God and his attitude towards us?
Read the Bible and find out, it should be quite clear that the answer to the first question is "yes".

                    04) Every religion believes theirs is, or could be, the right one. If you could defend your religion and beliefs in one, well constructed sentence, please do.
Read the Bible and follow it, or enjoy eternity in Hell.

Optional? Do you think you have the authority to demand anything of us?

As for your question, I will let Jesus Himself answer:

                    John 3:16-18

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Well I'm glad you at least put the word "feel" in there. Without meaning to, I think you've acknowledged that most of the things we do which God hates, and which cause Him to hate us, are well within our control.

"It just happened" is the battle cry of drunks and whores everywhere.

                      02) What are your views on homosexuality and homosexual marriage. Other than Biblical influence and impressions, do you think these people, religious or not, good willing or not, are really "bad"?
Our views on homosexuality are exactly the same as God's views on homosexuality. If you'd like to know what those are, why don't you crack open a Bible?

Start with Genesis 1:1, but for the straight dope on homos, start to pay especially close attention when you get to Leviticus 18:22.

To answer your question, we tend to think all people are bad, because badness is the natural state of affairs for a person who does not know the Lord.

The Bible says that sin is sin, so a homosexual is certainly no worse than a murderer, liar, abortionist, or consumer of shellfish, and we would definitely extend the same Christian love to a homo that we would extend to a convicted murderer on death row.

                      03) Do you believe in a sympathetic God or a vengeful God?
                      YES.

What is your view of God and his attitude towards us?
I love God with a passion that is boundless, and it is not my place to have an opinion of his "attitude" toward me.

                      04) Every religion believes theirs is, or could be, the right one. If you could defend your religion and beliefs in one, well constructed sentence, please do.
Our faith comes directly from God. As such, it is unassailable, and requires no defending.

I think you should be more concerned about what happens to you. You DO know there's such a thing as a Bible, and you HAVE heard about Jesus Christ. Your hypothetical negress will at least be able to whine that she's being treated unfairly as an endless procession of demons take turns painfully thrusting their grotesquely swollen members into her every orifice for all of eternity.

                      What will be your excuse?
