Rest assured, Brother Donkey, i did not mean to ruffle your egg's feathers, let alone persecute you! [I know my Leviticus 14:9 and if - for grave reasons of course - persecution should become a relevant topic, i'd prefer it to be Salem '92 - style.]

Why are you so eager to see Judgement Day, son? Are you tired of trying of trying to save yourself and you want to get it over with? You know, some of us are working very hard to make Disciples of All Men and spread the Gospel to all corners of the earth. We haven't given up just because people laugh at us. Jesus will come in Glory when He decides. Stop being so impatient, look into yourself to see what sins you still harbor against the Good LORD, confess them, and trust in Him fully.

A man may make reference to characters and events that occur in a comic book and our shared cultural millieux will facilitate communication but that does not mean that the Dan Slott run of Spider-Man is the word of God.
