Re: I'm neither troll nor extremist.
Antar as far as I traced back is an Arabic name, also I'm a man, finally I never said Catholicism and Christianity is the same.

Re: I'm neither troll nor extremist.
First of all, Catholics are not Christian. You can be Catholic and go to hell, or you can be a True Christian(tm) and join us in Heaven. You can't adhere to Romanist occultism and still receive Salvation through sanctification of the Spirit, though.
Leviticus 10:10
And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Revelation 3:15-16
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Can you back it up with Scripture that "science" and "evidence" supercede the Word of God? Indeed, God tells us that false "science" (that which leads one away from the Word) is to be avoided.Originally posted by AntarRSB View PostI personally believe that there is a fine line between science and religion that shouldn't be crossed. In that there are some things that cannot be defined or explained, and that there are some that can. There is more than enough evidence on both sides to provide insight on both.
I Timothy 6:20-21
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
True Science is that which confirms the teachings of the Holy Bible (KJV 1611). Whether or not a supposed "finding" of secular "science" is true or not can always be evaluated by comparing it to the Word of God, sort of like a litmus test.
We don't interpret the Word of God, friend. We simply obey it.I first joined this forum more so to find some clarifications and interpretations of some verses, but then I happened to read the forum on science and religion and was literally sick to my stomach. If that means I don't belong here, fine. But there are just some things that shouldn't be argued especially with incomplete information from either standpoint.
II Peter 1:20-21
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
All things are to be viewed in their context with God's Word. Either you believe the Bible is true, or you don't. Personally, I don't want to spend eternity in hell, so I know what I'm going to do. What about you? Do you want to go to hell, or would you rather join us in Heaven?
I think the LORD brought you here for a reason. Hopefully you'll stick around and learn something about what you profess to believe in. We want you to join us in Heaven.

Re: I'm neither troll nor extremist.
About the only thing I've learned about you is you feel "Antar" is important enough to be capitalized, but "God" isn't.

How about making a proper introduction (look above your post), and also showing God some respect, OK?
Yours in Christ,
Z. Smyth

What kind of a name is "Antar?" Sounds like another jap cartoon character. How old are you young lady? And what made you think that Mary worshiping catholics are Christians? Better read THIS and repent.

I'm neither troll nor extremist.
Hello there, I'm Antar. I'm a math/accounting major, and a believer in god, and the holy spirit. My official religion is catholic though the majority of my family is Baptist so I just kinda end up adhering to the teachings of both.
I personally believe that there is a fine line between science and religion that shouldn't be crossed. In that there are some things that cannot be defined or explained, and that there are some that can. There is more than enough evidence on both sides to provide insight on both.

Anywho... that's about it. I hope to hear a little input from you all.
