  • New Here.

    Hi,

My name is Sydney and I am a new believer. I was saved in September of 2011. My life was filled with sin and I was very sin filled. I was lucky that a strong Christian Man came into my life last summer. He took me from the place I was living along with my 4year old little girl and I lived with his parents until he married me in October.
My husband is a Man of God who is instructing me on how to live a more holy life. I am learning what my place is within the home and within our marriage. This is not always easy for me. He says that the rebellion that runs deep within me will need lots of correction and discipline. I'm not to good at receiving that either. I am thankful to my husband for saving me and my daughter from a life of sin and destruction, it is just sometimes it is very hard. I am learning the Bible and so many things all at once. I am trying hard to be a Godly woman and wife, I guess I have a lot to learn.
    My favorite Bible scripture is
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

It gives me Hope that because I have given over my life to him, I will have everlasting life.

    Thank you
    Sydney

Welcome young lady, to God's favorite forum. I presume you have your husband's permission to be posting here?

What church does he take you to? And how did you come up with a child prior to being married?

      Hi Sydney!

It's good that you're trying to get saved now, since GOD could decide to kill you like reeaaalllly soon, since you used to sin so much and all, and if you're not saved then you would straight to HELL!

      Boy, wouldn't that be awful?

Anyways, how come you used to be a slut? Were you on drugs?

          Hi Pastor Ezekiel,

Yes my husband does know that I am at this site, in fact he monitors everything I do. I became pregnant when I was almost 17 years old. I was a pretty tough teenager. I got into a lot of trouble. Thank you for your welcome to this site.

Could be she's an ex-whore now. She claims a Christian husband, after all.

Sydney, are you an ex-whore, or do you still cruise truck stops looking for fresh meat?

How often do you beg forgiveness to your husband for being an ex-whore?

                  Hello, Sydney

I see that you are named after the great Australian city. Welcome to this forum. I am new here myself. I see that John 3:16 is your favourite verse. I hope you have also read verses 18b-20: "He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." They really complement verse 16 and balance it out.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

John 3:20 is my favorite! It shows, with perfect clarity, that all who refuse to become Christian are evil. If they weren't evil, they wouldn't hate the Light, and they'd be Christians.

                            Re: New Here.

                            Hi everyone,
I'm going to try to answer all of your questions. First, I didn't have a husband when I had my little girl. The boy left and refused to admit that he was the dad. I was a very sin filled girl. I didn't have any guidance. My family didn't believe in God, and I never went to church. I spent my time looking for acceptance and love and only found trouble.
My husband took us in like I said earlier. He is an older man and I am confident that he has the wisdom, discernment, and authority to not only teach and train me within our marriage but also with my little girl as well. All of it is very new to me. As my husband says, my little girl is already full of sin. She is disobedient and needs to learn how to obey. I never punished her. I never gave her rules or anything like that. I am grateful for my husband to even take on the task of my daughter.
Every day I ask for forgiveness for my sins. I repent for my past sinful life every day. I must at all times be obedient, respectful, and honest. I am to at all-time be in as state of submission. When I need discipline, I put complete faith in the guidance and wisdom of my husband. When I first met my husband, before we got married, like I said his parents took my daughter and I in to live with them. I don’t really have parents of my own, so they have now become my mother and father. Because I wasn’t raised with a mother and father I am being taught now by them how to honor and obey my parents. My mother is teaching me how to cook, clean, and take care of my husband and our home. I am trained and disciplined by my mother and father as well. My husband and his family try to correct me and I know my punishment is deserved. I have to keep a journal of my disobedience, dishonesty, disloyal actions as well as my rebellion.
