So you are a wayward slut trying to achieve Salvation(R). That's the spirit!

So your father is a weak and useless man unable to find you a decent husband? That's a tough break. God must hate your family.Originally posted by Angelie View PostI'm not married unfortunately. Introduction
Hi! My name is Angelie, and I'm 19. It's nice to meet you all.
I don't go to church as of yet, seeing as I just got saved last week.
(If anyone can recommend a church it would be greatly appreciated!)
My favorite Bible verse is Ezekiel 32:26- "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh".
Before I accepted Christ, I had a heart of stone. I used to go to the clubs until all hours of the night, drinking Bacardi and partying. I wasted a number of years in that pit- fighting to stay alive during the day, partying my life away at night. Nobody kept me in check- my mother abandoned me when I was a kid and my father is in and out of jail all the time (I kid you not- he's actually in jail now).
About last week, I was coming out of the club and I ran into someone that knew me when I was younger. He was saved, and he actually dragged me away from the club and into his car. There he ministered to me, and after what seemed like forever for me (may have been half an hour for all I know) I found myself sober and in tears begging God for forgiveness and for salvation.
I come with an open heart and empty hands. I have nothing to give but truth, and I have nothing to hide. I hope I've made the right choice by coming here, but at the moment I have a hunch that I did make the right choice.
Yours in Christ,
AngelieTags: None
