Hi! My name is Angelie, and I'm 19. It's nice to meet you all.

I don't go to church as of yet, seeing as I just got saved last week. (If anyone can recommend a church it would be greatly appreciated!)

My favorite Bible verse is Ezekiel 32:26- "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh".

Before I accepted Christ, I had a heart of stone. I used to go to the clubs until all hours of the night, drinking Bacardi and partying. I wasted a number of years in that pit- fighting to stay alive during the day, partying my life away at night. Nobody kept me in check- my mother abandoned me when I was a kid and my father is in and out of jail all the time (I kid you not- he's actually in jail now).
About last week, I was coming out of the club and I ran into someone that knew me when I was younger. He was saved, and he actually dragged me away from the club and into his car. There he ministered to me, and after what seemed like forever for me (may have been half an hour for all I know) I found myself sober and in tears begging God for forgiveness and for salvation.

I come with an open heart and empty hands. I have nothing to give but truth, and I have nothing to hide. I hope I've made the right choice by coming here, but at the moment I have a hunch that I did make the right choice.

I'm not married unfortunately. Even in my sinful state I didn't want to marry a gang member or a drug addict. That causes legal issues and that's not a good thing.

Oh I can see that! You should wait for Pastor Ezekiel. He is an expert in taking in ex-sluts and guiding them to accept Jesus' love bursting deep within them.

Meanwhile, I suggest you familiarise yourself with the place women hold before God and with respect to men.

Not a problem. You bore up well with the realisation you are as good as a fatherless slut without Jesus. Most unsaved trash begin to rant and rave at the realisation that before God they are as dung without accepting Christ and doing His bidding.

I have high hopes that in time you will reconcile yourself with the simple fact that you are damned and worthless without a husband to give you legitimate children.

God is your father now, and I'm sure He is pleased that you haven't been "knocked up" by your father, or some drug-addicted gangbanger.

Most likely there's one... somewhere. The majority of churches around here are false Christian churches though- finding a good Baptist church is not easy, but I'm steadily working on it.

Have you tried Google? You should be able to find all the Baptist churches in your area in about 3 seconds.

Do tell, if you don't go to church, how did you "get saved last week"?
